  • 48-port PoE switch | wired network expansion | 44×PoE + 4×SFP+ | managed | 720 W | metal enclosure

    Code: GS2048PS4

    A PoE switch designed for large-scale network systems where a high port count, very high PoE power, and 10 Gb/s backbone throughput are required. This model is suitable for video surveillance systems, Wi-Fi 6 / Wi-Fi 6E access points, IP telephony, server rooms, commercial buildings, and industrial installations.

    Thanks to PoE++ support (up to 90 W per port) on the first 4 ports, the switch can power high-power PTZ cameras, outdoor Wi-Fi stations, and other energy-intensive IP devices without the need for separate power supplies.

    Functions

    Full network management (VLAN, QoS, IGMP, port management, security rules)
    PoE++ (90 W) – for high-power IP devices
    10 Gb/s SFP+ uplinks – for high-traffic servers, NVRs, or network backbones
    High PoE power budget (720 W) – powers dozens of devices simultaneously
    Large MAC table – stable operation in large networks
    Metal construction – durability and efficient cooling

    Applications

    For home users: Large home video surveillance system (IP cameras + NVR), multiple Wi-Fi access points powered via a single cable, smart home solutions requiring stability and future-proof capacity
    For electricians / installers: Fast and clean connection of PoE devices without additional power supplies, clear structure in server racks and network cabinets, fewer components – lower risk of installation errors
    For engineers / system integrators: 10G uplinks for high-traffic networks, VLAN segmentation, security, QoS, suitable for business, office, manufacturing, or logistics center networks

    Pros

    Very high PoE power – 720 W
    PoE++ (90 W) support
    4 × 10G SFP+ – professional backbone
    High port count – 48
    Managed switch – full network control
    Robust metal enclosure

    Cons

    Basic networking knowledge required to fully utilize features
    Higher power consumption due to large PoE capacity
    Designed for medium and large systems, not small networks
