Cable cutters – how to choose

The right cutters cut the cable cleanly, do not crush the conductors and do not require much force. The choice depends on the cable cross-section or diameter and the material.

⚡ These cutters are intended only for de-energised cables. Before cutting, make sure the cable is disconnected and earthed. Only VDE / IEC 60900 certified tools are used for work on live parts – see insulated pliers.
