    How does radiant heating work?

A radiant heater transfers heat using the principle of thermal radiation. Instead of first heating all the air in the room, the energy is directed toward surfaces and people, so warmth is felt more quickly. The nickel-plated reflector helps direct heat radiation toward the desired area.
