Active two-way 6.5-inch in-ceiling Wi-Fi speaker with an integrated digital amplifier, designed for high-quality background audio, stereo and multi-room Multiroom audio systems.

The speaker supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, wired RJ45 LAN, Bluetooth 5.0, AUX IN and 48V PoE++ power. Alternatively, it can be powered by an optional 24V DC / 5A maitinimo adapterio.

The speaker supports 48V PoE++ power compliant with the IEEE 802.3bt standard. This solution allows network data and power to be transmitted through a single standard Ethernet cable.

The integrated amplifier has a two-channel constant-impedance speaker output. One channel is used for the speaker built into the active unit, while a compatible passive speaker can be connected to the other channel.

For example, an active Wi-Fi speaker and a compatible passive speaker are installed in the ceiling of a hotel room. A single Ethernet cable is routed from an IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ switch in the network cabinet to the active speaker.

Through the same cable, the speaker receives 48V power and connects to the local network. With PoE++ power, the amplifier can deliver up to 2×30W.

If higher output power is required in a particular zone, the speaker is connected to an optional 24V DC / 5A adapter. In this mode, the declared amplifier output increases to up to 2×50W.

Each room is assigned a separate name in the app. Different music can be played in individual rooms, or selected zones can be grouped for shared playback.

1. Select the installation location. Check that there are no profiles, pipes, electrical cables or other structures above the ceiling.

4. Cut the opening in the ceiling.

7. Route the speaker cable, if a passive speaker will be connected.

10. Connect the selected power source. Do not use PoE++ and 24V DC power simultaneously unless the manufacturer explicitly permits it.
11. Insert the speaker into the opening and evenly tighten the four rotating mounting clamps.
12. Fit the white metal grille.
13. Switch on the power and configure the speaker in the app.

• Use only IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ equipment for PoE power.
• Check both the per-port and total power budget of the PoE++ switch.
• Standard PoE or PoE+ may not provide sufficient power.
• Use a regulated 24V DC / 5A adapter for 24V DC operation.
• Check the polarity before connecting 24V DC.
• Do not connect 230V AC directly to the speaker.
• Do not use both power inputs simultaneously unless this is confirmed in the instructions.
• Check the passive speaker impedance before connection.
• The rated impedance is not specified in the supplied data.
• Do not exceed the amplifier’s permitted total load.
• Check the actual Ø205 mm opening size before cutting.
• Allow approximately 115 mm of depth above the ceiling and space for connections.
• Do not install the speaker outdoors or directly in a damp environment.

PoE++ and Wi-Fi Multiroom audio system integrated directly into the ceiling

The active 6.5-inch in-ceiling speaker can be powered through a 48V PoE++ IEEE 802.3bt network or by an optional 24V DC / 5A adapter. In PoE++ mode, both network data and the electrical power required by the speaker are transmitted through a single Ethernet cable.

With PoE++, amplifier output of up to 2×30W is declared, while connecting a 24V DC / 5A power adapter increases the declared output to up to 2×50W. 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, RJ45 LAN, Bluetooth 5.0, AUX, AirPlay, DLNA and QPlay provide access to a variety of local and network music sources.
