The cover is classified as D400 and complies with the EN124 standard. Covers of this class are used on carriageways, car parks, industrial areas and other locations exposed to high vehicle loads.

The smaller upper cover can simplify inspection, measurements or other maintenance work when it is not necessary to open the entire main Ø900mm access opening.

SMC composite is non-metallic and has electrically insulating properties. The material also helps reduce the accumulation of static electrical charge and the risk of electrostatic discharge.

The cover can be used on carriageways, industrial areas, petrol stations, storage and logistics yards and other locations where vehicles operate.

The main cover and additional access cover incorporate sealing elements designed to reduce the penetration of water, gases, odours, oil or other liquids into the manhole interior.

The -60°C...+150°C range describes the temperature resistance of the SMC material used in moulded products. Operating conditions for the complete structure also depend on sealing elements, fixing and the installation location.

A technical manhole is installed in a trafficked area of an industrial site. Routine maintenance requires only limited access to the inside of the manhole, so the smaller upper cover can be removed. When full access is required, the main Ø900mm cover is opened. This construction allows different types of maintenance work to be performed more conveniently.
