Differential pressure transmitter with display | 0-4000Pa | 0-10VDC/0-20mA/PWM | Modbus RTU | 24VAC/VDC | 3-wire | IP65 | Sentera Controls | DPS-G-4K0
DPS-G-4K0 – a Sentera Controls differential pressure transmitter with display and a factory measuring range of 0–4000 Pa. It integrates a digital high-resolution differential pressure sensor and one analog / modulating output: 0-10 VDC, 0-20 mA or 0–100 % PWM signal, and Modbus RTU communication. The -G version – for 3-wire connection with a common supply and output “minus”, powered by 24 VAC or 24 VDC; IP65 enclosure, wall-mounted.
Key idea:
The transmitter converts the pressure difference between two points into a standard control signal: a controller, frequency converter or EC fan receives 0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / PWM, while the BMS sees the actual pressure, airflow or velocity via Modbus RTU and can change all settings without a screwdriver. The display lets you see the value right on site – there is no need to carry a manometer when commissioning and tuning the system.Measuring range

The transmitter is mounted on a wall or other solid surface near the measuring points, and the measuring points are connected with tubes to the aluminium “+” and “–” nozzles (for a 6 mm tube). For connection, the Sentera PSET-PVC-200 or PSET-QF-200 kits are convenient; for air velocity – the Pitot tube kits PSET-PTS-200 / PSET-PTL-200.
An integrated digital sensor measures the pressure difference; three modes are available: differential pressure (Pa), air volume flow (m³/h – by the fan K-factor or Q = A × V) and air velocity (m/s – with the external PSET-PTX-200 Pitot tube kit). The output is factory-calibrated: 0 V at 0 Pa, 10 V at 4000 Pa. Over Modbus RTU (the 3SModbus application or the Sensistant configurator) the working window (min. interval 50 Pa for pressure, 10 m³/h for flow, 1 m/s for velocity), output type, response time of 0.1–10 s and alarm limits are set. The display shows pressure or airflow, and the LED indicators show whether the value is normal, in the warning zone or out of limits.
The analog signal directly controls a Sentera speed controller, frequency converter or EC fan – maintaining constant pressure in the duct or room, while the BMS receives the exact value via Modbus. The 0–4000 Pa range is intended for systems where pressure exceeds 2000 Pa – powerful fans, long networks with high resistance, industrial air systems.

Main functions
- Three measuring modes – differential pressure, airflow in m³/h by K-factor or cross-section, and air velocity in m/s with a Pitot tube.
- Selectable output – 0-10 VDC, 0-20 mA or PWM – suitable for controllers, frequency converters, EC fans and regulators.
- Modbus RTU – all measured values and settings are accessible from a BMS / SCADA; configurable with 3SModbus or Sensistant.
- Programmable working window – the min. and max. limits can be narrowed (down to a 50 Pa interval) – the output signal is used only for the required pressure.
- Response time 0.1–10 s – damps pulsations and turbulence, so the signal to the controller is stable.
- Zero calibration with a button – SW1 – quick zero check on site, and also resetting the Modbus registers to factory defaults.
- LED display – 4-digit on-site readout – convenient during commissioning, tuning and servicing.
- Status LEDs – a green / yellow / red indicator shows whether the value is normal, in the warning zone or out of range.
- PWM with internal or external power supply – a jumper selects the 3.3 or 12 VDC internal PWM supply, or an external one via a pull-up resistor.
- 24 VAC or DC power supply – 3-wire connection with a common GND – the transmitter is easy to connect to a 24 VAC control transformer or an 18–34 VDC source.
Where is it used?
- Higher-pressure fans and industrial air systems
- Filter fouling monitoring in ventilation units
- Maintaining constant pressure in a duct (VAV systems)
- Airflow measurement via the fan K factor
- Air velocity measurement in a duct with a Pitot tube
- Ensuring minimum ventilation rates in buildings
- Clean rooms, kitchens, laboratories – pressure monitoring
On-demand operation
For industrial ventilation designers.
The 0–4000 Pa range is intended for systems where the pressure exceeds 2000 Pa – powerful fans and long networks with high resistance. For HVAC commissioning engineers.
A 4-digit LED display shows pressure or flow locally, so no separate manometer is needed during commissioning. For installers with a 24 VAC control transformer.
The -G version is wired with 3 wires with a common GND and powered at 15–24 VAC or 18–34 VDC.Practical application
If you need to monitor or maintain the constant pressure created by a powerful fan, then the DPS-G-4K0 with the factory scale 0–4000 Pa (every 400 Pa = 1 V) is connected to the measuring points, and the 0-10 VDC signal is passed to a Sentera controller, a frequency converter or, over Modbus RTU, to the BMS. The value is shown locally on the display, so commissioning is done without a manometer.Application guide: how it is used in practice
The DPS-G-4K0 adapts to different sites – only where the tubes are connected and where the signal is routed changes:
Site What is connected Result Installer's note Air handling unit filter Tubes upstream and downstream of the filter; AO1 or Modbus → BMS When the filter becomes clogged – an alarm and timely planned replacement Narrow the working window to the filter pressure limits Constant pressure in the duct Duct point and environment; AO1 → Sentera speed controller / frequency converter / EC fan Fan speed is varied so that the pressure stays constant Increase the response time if the signal pulsates Airflow measurement Measuring points at the fan inlet nozzle (PSET-PVC-200) The transmitter displays and transmits m³/h according to the K-factor You will find the K factor in the fan documentation Air velocity in the duct Pitot tube PSET-PTS-200 / PSET-PTL-200 Measured in m/s, flow is calculated as Q = A × V Install the Pitot tube in a straight section of the duct Building with BMS Modbus RTU (A, /B) Values and settings are managed centrally Do not mix -F and -G versions in the same network How to choose the range of a pressure transmitter

The -G (3-wire) version suits 24 VAC or DC supply with a common GND; -F (4-wire) – DC only with separate GNDs, when the output GND must be separated from the supply GND (e.g. in DC-powered networks with other devices). Do not mix -F and -G on the same network. When to choose another solution: without a display – HPS series; for two points – DPD (with display) or HPD (without display); connection kits PSET-PVC-200, PSET-QF-200, Pitot tubes PSET-PTS-200 / PSET-PTL-200; for Modbus configuration – CNVT-USB-RS485-SET converter; for 24 VDC power – SEPS8-24-40.Pros
