Application

Dimplex AC45W is intended for entrance areas where frequent door opening increases air exchange between indoor and outdoor environments. The fan forms a directed air barrier across the opening, while the electric heating element additionally heats the supplied air.

The model is particularly suitable for single-door entrances and similar openings where a higher heating output than the AC3W model is required.

Three main operating modes

• Fan mode – airflow without additional heating.
• 2450 W mode – partial electric heating output.
• 4500 W mode – maximum electric heating output.

Electronic control

AC45W features electronic temperature control and can be configured via the ConfigR app. Manufacturer documentation also provides weekly scheduling and additional control functions.

Airflow and installation height

The declared air velocity is 5.5 m/s, with a recommended maximum installation height of 2.4 m. These parameters should be considered when evaluating whether the unit is suitable for a specific doorway.
