    Dimplex AC6W Electric Air Curtain

    Dimplex AC6W is an electrically heated air curtain designed for installation above doors and wider entrance openings. It creates a directed airflow that helps reduce cold outdoor air infiltration and air exchange through an open doorway. The unit operates from a 230 V AC supply and offers 3000 W / 6000 W heating stages.

    Application

    Dimplex AC6W is intended for frequently used entrances where opening doors increases air exchange between indoor and outdoor environments. Its 921 mm width and maximum 6 kW heating output make it suitable for wider entrance openings, including appropriately sized double-door applications.

    Important:
    Performance depends on more than heating output. Opening dimensions, installation position, airflow velocity, door usage, wind exposure and building pressure balance should also be considered.

    Operating modes

    • Fan only – airflow without heating.
    • 3000 W – partial heating output.
    • 6000 W – maximum heating output.

    Electronic control

    The electronic thermostat can be adjusted from 7 to 30 °C via the ConfigR app. Weekly scheduling, advance and Boost functions are also available. Initial commissioning is carried out using the ConfigR app.
