ADAX Comfort 50-150-600 Black is a black electric ladder-type heated towel rail designed for drying and warming towels and providing additional bathroom comfort. The 600 W model has 24 horizontal bars, a programmable electronic controller, 7–30 °C temperature adjustment and IP44 protection. The black RAL 9305 finish and understated Scandinavian design fit particularly well in contemporary, minimalist and industrial-style bathroom interiors.

ADAX Comfort 50-150-600 Black combines towel drying, room heating and programmable temperature control in one appliance. The integrated controller allows COMFORT, NIGHT, ANTIFREEZE, 2-hour rapid heating and CHRONO weekly programming modes to be selected. The towel warmer is supplied ready for use – filled with heat-transfer fluid and equipped with a heating element, 1.1 m power cable and plug.

Practical: the towel warmer is factory-filled with heat-transfer fluid and already has the heating element installed. Once mounted on the wall, it only needs to be connected to the 230 V power supply.

The vertical ladder-type construction has 24 horizontal bars. This design provides more space for hanging everyday towels, while the 500 × 1500 mm dimensions are particularly practical when several towels need to be dried at the same time. The black RAL 9305 finish gives the construction a modern and distinctive appearance.

The black heating element is rotatable, allowing a more convenient controller orientation to be selected during installation and enabling the appliance to be adapted for either right-hand or left-hand installation configurations.

In COMFORT mode, the controller maintains the selected room temperature. The required temperature is selected using the [+] and [−] buttons. The overall adjustable temperature range is 7–30 °C.

NIGHT mode allows a lower temperature to be used than in COMFORT mode. It is suitable at night or when the room is unused for several hours. The NIGHT temperature can be set from 7 °C up to the COMFORT temperature minus 0.5 °C.

In ANTIFREEZE mode, the temperature setting is fixed at 7 °C. The heating element switches on when the room temperature drops below this level. This mode is practical during long absences or in rooms that are used infrequently.

In TIMER-2H mode, the towel warmer operates at the maximum 600 W power for up to 2 hours. This function is particularly useful when damp towels need to be dried more quickly or when the room needs a temporary intensive heat boost. At the end of the 2-hour period, the appliance automatically returns to the previously selected mode.

CHRONO mode allows an individual 7-day heating schedule to be created. One of two temperature levels can be assigned to each hour of the day:

• COMFORT – higher comfort temperature.
• NIGHT – reduced temperature.

The integrated open-window detection function responds to a sudden drop in room temperature. When such a change is detected, the heating element is deactivated and heating resumes when the temperature change indicates that the window has been closed.

The controller keypad can be locked to prevent accidental changes to the settings. Holding the [Prog] button for approximately 3 seconds locks all control buttons except [On/Standby].

1. Disconnect the power supply before installation or electrical connection work.
2. Install the towel warmer vertically on a suitable and sufficiently strong wall.
3. Take into account the 15.3 kg product weight and use fixings suitable for the wall construction.
4. The electrical controller section must not be installed at the top of the towel warmer.
5. It is recommended that the lowest heating bar be at least 600 mm above the floor.
6. It is recommended to leave at least 50 cm of free space in front of the appliance.
7. Do not place other objects closer than approximately 10 cm to the towel warmer.
8. Bathroom electrical installation must comply with the applicable requirements for wet rooms.
9. The power-supply circuit must have suitable protection, including a residual-current device not exceeding 30 mA where required by the installation conditions.
10. Installation and electrical work must be performed by a qualified specialist in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable regulations.

The IP44 design protects the appliance against splashing water. The appliance may be installed in bathroom zone 2 provided that the electrical controls cannot be reached by a person using the bath or shower. The installation location must always be selected in accordance with applicable electrical-installation requirements.

• Switch off the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning.
• Clean the surface with cold or lukewarm water at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
• Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
• A neutral or mildly alkaline cleaner may be used for stubborn stains.
• Do not use abrasive sponges or scraping tools.
• Do not use acidic or strongly alkaline cleaning products.
• Do not use steam cleaners.
• Do not use aggressive organic solvents.
• After cleaning, rinse the surface with clean cold water and remove any detergent residues.

• The specified maximum surface temperature is 80 °C.
• Some parts of the appliance may become hot during operation.
• The towel warmer is intended for drying towels but should not be completely covered.
• Completely covering the appliance may increase its temperature and activate internal protection.
• Do not sit on the towel warmer or use it as a support, ladder or toy.
• Special care is required when small children or vulnerable persons are nearby.
• A damaged power cable or controller must be replaced by a qualified specialist.
• Always disconnect the power supply before maintenance work.
