ADAX Comfort 50-130-500 White is a white electric ladder-type heated towel rail designed for drying and warming towels and providing additional bathroom comfort. The 500 W model features 21 bars, a programmable electronic controller, 7–30 °C temperature adjustment and IP44 protection. The white RAL 9016 finish and understated Scandinavian design blend easily into modern bathroom interiors.

ADAX Comfort 50-130-500 White combines towel drying, room heating and programmable temperature control in one appliance. The integrated controller allows selection of comfort, night, frost-protection, 2-hour quick-heating and CHRONO weekly programming modes. The towel warmer is supplied ready for use – filled with heat-transfer fluid, fitted with a heating element, a 1.1 m power cable and plug.

Practical: the towel warmer is factory-filled with heat-transfer fluid and supplied with the heating element already installed. Once mounted on the wall, it only needs to be connected to the 230 V power supply.

The vertical ladder-style construction features 21 horizontal bars. This design provides more space for hanging everyday towels, while the 500 × 1300 mm dimensions are especially practical when several towels need to be dried at the same time. The white RAL 9016 finish gives the unit a clean, versatile appearance that is easy to match with bathroom interiors.

The white heating element is rotatable, allowing the controller position to be adapted during installation and enabling both right-hand and left-hand installation configurations.

In COMFORT mode, the controller maintains the selected room temperature. The desired temperature is set using the [+] and [−] buttons. The overall adjustable temperature range is 7–30 °C.

NIGHT mode allows a lower temperature to be used than in COMFORT mode. It is suitable for night-time use or when the room will be unused for several hours. NIGHT temperature can be set from 7 °C up to the COMFORT temperature minus 0.5 °C.

In ANTIFREEZE mode, the temperature is fixed at 7 °C. The heating element is activated when room temperature drops below this level. This mode is practical when leaving for a longer period or in rarely used rooms.

In TIMER-2H mode, the towel warmer operates at its maximum 500 W power for up to 2 hours. This function is especially useful when damp towels need to be dried faster or the room needs short-term intensive heating. After the 2-hour period, the appliance automatically returns to the previously selected mode.

CHRONO mode allows an individual 7-day heating schedule to be created. One of two temperature levels can be assigned to each hour of the day:

• COMFORT – higher comfort temperature.
• NIGHT – reduced temperature.

The integrated open-window detection function reacts to a sudden drop in room temperature. When such a change is detected, the heating element is deactivated and heating resumes when the temperature change indicates that the window has been closed.

The controller keypad can be locked to prevent accidental changes to the settings. Holding the [Prog] button for approximately 3 seconds locks all control buttons except [On/Standby].

1. Switch off the power supply before installation or electrical connection work.
2. Install the towel warmer vertically on a suitable and sufficiently strong wall.
3. Take the 13.4 kg product weight into account and use fasteners suitable for the wall construction.
4. The electric controller must not be positioned at the top of the towel warmer.
5. It is recommended that the lowest heated bar is at least 600 mm above the floor.
6. Leave at least 50 cm of free space in front of the appliance.
7. Do not place other objects closer than approximately 10 cm to the towel warmer.
8. Electrical installation in bathrooms must comply with applicable requirements for wet rooms.
9. The power circuit must have appropriate protection, including an RCD with a rated residual current not exceeding 30 mA where required by the installation conditions.
10. Installation and electrical work must be carried out by a qualified specialist according to the manufacturer's instructions and applicable requirements.

IP44 construction protects the appliance against splashing water. The appliance may be installed in bathroom Zone 2 provided that electrical controls cannot be reached by a person using the bath or shower. The installation location must always be selected in accordance with applicable electrical installation requirements.

• Switch off the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning.
• Clean the surface with cold or lukewarm water not exceeding 25 °C.
• Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
• A neutral or mildly alkaline cleaner may be used for stubborn stains.
• Do not use abrasive sponges or scraping tools.
• Do not use acidic or strongly alkaline cleaners.
• Do not use steam cleaners.
• Do not use aggressive organic solvents.
• After cleaning, rinse the surface with clean cold water and remove any detergent residue.

• Maximum stated surface temperature – 80 °C.
• Some parts of the appliance may become hot during operation.
• The heated towel rail is designed for drying towels, but it should not be completely covered.
• Completely covering the appliance may increase its temperature and activate the internal protection.
• Do not sit on the towel warmer or use it as a support, ladder or toy.
• Particular care is required when small children or vulnerable persons are nearby.
• A damaged power cable or controller must be replaced by a qualified specialist.
• Always disconnect the power supply before maintenance work.
