Electric wall-mounted / freestanding convector radiator | 1000 W | 230 V | 420×540×84 mm | IP24C | Electronic programmable thermostat | Adax VP1110 KET
Adax VP1110 KET is a convector electric radiator with an electronic programmable thermostat, designed for heating rooms in residential and commercial premises. Mounted on a wall with the included bracket, or, with separately purchased legs, placed on the floor. IP24C protection class allows installation in bathrooms and other damp rooms.
Main point:
Many convector heaters are unsuitable for damp rooms or only have a mechanical thermostat with large temperature swings. VP1110 KET solves both problems: IP24C protection allows mounting in a bathroom near the shower zone boundary, and the electronic thermostat maintains temperature more precisely than a mechanical one across the 5–35 °C range, saving electricity. Connection via a cable with a plug into a socket means that additional electrical installation work is usually not required – wall mounting is enough.Power

Electronic programmable thermostatOperating principle
The radiator is mounted on a wall with the included bracket or placed on the floor with separately purchased legs. It is connected via a cable with a plug into a standard 230 V socket – no separate electrical supply is needed. Cold air enters through the lower grilles of the body, warms at the internal heating element, and rises into the room through the upper grilles by natural convection, with no fan and no noise.
The electronic programmable thermostat, located on the right side of the radiator, measures room temperature and switches the heating element on and off within the 5–35 °C range, maintaining the set value with less deviation than a mechanical thermostat. The heating element does not burn air or dust, and the maximum surface temperature is limited to 75 °C, so the radiator is safe to touch even during long operation.
What makes VP1110 KET useful?
It lets you heat a specific room – a bathroom, bedroom, office – without reworking the central heating: just mount it on the wall and plug it into a socket. The IP24C class and the 75 °C limited surface temperature together provide a safe solution for damp rooms and rooms used by children.Technical specifications
Model VP1110 KET Product type Convector electric radiator (wall-mounted / freestanding) Manufacturer Adax Power 1000 W Voltage 230 V Protection class IP24C Thermostat Electronic programmable thermostat Temperature control range 5–35 °C Dimensions (H x W x D) 420 x 540 x 84 mm Max. surface temperature 75 °C Overheat protection Installed Connection Cable with plug into a socket, cable length 1.20 m Mounting On the wall (bracket included); on the floor with additional legs Min. distance from top / bottom 250 mm / 50 mm Colour White Warranty 5 years Key features
- Electronic programmable thermostat – maintains the set temperature within the 5–35 °C range more precisely than a mechanical thermostat.
- IP24C protection class – can be mounted in bathrooms and other damp rooms.
- Plug connection – 1.20 m cable with plug, additional electrical installation is usually not required.
- Overheat protection – a built-in protective cut-out limiting the heating element's temperature.
- Does not burn air or dust – suitable for long-term use in living spaces without extra air drying.
- Flexible mounting location – normally hung on the wall, or, with legs, additionally placed on the floor.
Where is it used?
- Bathrooms and shower rooms (due to IP24C protection class)
- Bedrooms and children's rooms
- Additional or main heating for offices and work rooms
- Summer houses and garden cabins without central heating
- Basements and utility rooms
- Hallways and corridors
- Rented flats, where a simple heater requiring no installation work is needed
- Temporary work spaces, storage rooms, garage spaces with an electricity supply
Use by need
For home users.
Just hang the radiator on the wall and plug it into a socket – suitable for supplementing existing heating in a bathroom or bedroom without any electrical installation work.For businesses and industry.
In offices and small commercial premises, VP1110 KET allows flexible heating of individual rooms, independent of the central heating system, and quick relocation of the heater to another room.For electricians / engineers.
When designing a bathroom's electrical installation, it is important to choose a suitable socket zone according to the distances allowed by IP24C from damp zones, and to ensure the recommended gaps of 250 mm from the top and 50 mm from the bottom for free air circulation.Practical application
In a 10 m² tiled bathroom with no underfloor heating, VP1110 KET is hung on the wall beyond the shower's damp zone boundary, with the thermostat set to 22 °C. The 1000 W power is enough to maintain a comfortable temperature after a shower, and the electronic thermostat switches the element on only when needed, avoiding continuous operation and unnecessary electricity consumption.
Pros
- Suitable for damp rooms – IP24C protection class allows use in a bathroom.
- Precise temperature maintenance – an electronic thermostat, not a mechanical one.
- Simple installation – bracket included, plug connection.
- Safe to touch – surface temperature limited to 75 °C.
- Flexible placement – can be used both on the wall and on the floor (with legs).
- Long warranty – 5-year manufacturer warranty.
Cons / limitations
- Legs for floor placement are not included – purchased separately.
- 1000 W power may not be enough for a room larger than approx. 10–12 m² without an additional heat source.
- IP24C is not suitable for direct water flow – must be mounted beyond the shower's splash zone.
- Thermostat control only on the unit itself, with no remote or smart control.
- Fixed 1.20 m cable length limits socket location choice.
Safety and installation notes
- When installing in a bathroom, keep a safe distance from the shower or bath's damp zone according to electrical installation requirements.
- Leave at least 250 mm of free space above the radiator and 50 mm below it for air circulation.
- Do not cover the radiator with fabric or furniture – the heating element needs a free air flow.
- Use only the included or manufacturer-recommended mounting bracket.
- The socket must be reachable without stretching the cable and must meet the room's dampness zone requirements.
- Before mounting, make sure the wall will bear the radiator's weight together with the mounting elements.

IP24CThermostat
Electronic programmable thermostatSuitable when you need to:- a safe electric heater for a damp room (bathroom, shower room);
- precise temperature maintenance with an electronic thermostat without central heating;
- a heater that's quick to install or relocate without extra electrical work.
Check before use:- whether the socket is reachable within the 1.20 m cable length;
- whether the room area matches the sufficiency of 1000 W power;
- whether the 250 mm / 50 mm minimum distances from top and bottom are maintained;
- whether the mounting location matches the dampness zone allowed by IP24C.
Important reminder:
The radiator heats a specific room and does not replace the building's central heating system over a larger area – larger or colder rooms need a higher-power model or several units.FAQ
Can it be mounted in a bathroom?
Yes, the IP24C protection class allows mounting in damp rooms, keeping a safe distance from direct water flow.Is a separate electrical supply needed?
No, the radiator is connected via a 1.20 m cable with a plug to a standard 230 V socket.Can it be placed on the floor?
Yes, with separately purchased legs; a wall mounting bracket is included as standard.What temperature range does the thermostat support?
The electronic thermostat regulates temperature within the 5–35 °C range.How much room area is 1000 W of power sufficient for?
Depends on insulation, but as a guideline up to approx. 10–12 m² – for a larger area a higher-power version or several units is recommended.What is the manufacturer's warranty?
A 5-year Adax warranty is provided.Electric wall-mounted / freestanding convector radiator | 1000 W
Adax VP1110 KET is a 1000 W convector electric radiator with an electronic programmable thermostat and IP24C protection class, suitable for both dry and damp rooms. Mounted on the wall or, with additional legs, on the floor, connected via a plug into a socket, with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
