Electronic fan speed controller with lighting switch | 10A | 230VAC | surface-mounted | Sentera Controls | SLM-0100-AT
SLM-0100-AT – Sentera Controls electronic fan speed controller with an integrated lighting switch. Controls single-phase voltage-controllable AC motors (0.5–10 A), and the same housing also switches the room lighting.
Key idea:
Two controllers in one housing: fan speed and lighting. Especially convenient in workshops, garages, warehouses and kitchens.What it is for SLM-0100-AT:
This model is designed for high-power fans (up to 10 A) – industrial fans in production halls, warehouses, farm buildings or a larger group of fans.Motor current

Knob + light switchPower supply
230 VAC ±10 %, 50 HzProtection
IP54, surface-mountedOperating principle
The controller is wall-mounted. Connect the power supply, the motor (U1, U2), the lighting circuit and, if required, additional 230 V loads to the unregulated outputs.
Speed is changed smoothly by varying the motor voltage within 70–230 VAC. Min. speed is set with a trimmer at 70–150 VAC, max. at 170–230 VAC.
With quick start enabled (jumper JP1), the motor runs at full speed for 8–10 s, then switches to the set speed.
Engineer's note: with an AC induction motor, reducing the voltage increases rotor losses, so the savings are lower than with an EC fan or a frequency inverter; when completely silent operation at low speed is essential, choose a transformer controller with a sinusoidal output voltage.
Benefits SLM-0100-AT?
One housing instead of two – a tidy installation and convenient control.Technical specifications

Typical SLM-0100-AT applications:
Site What is connected Result Installer's note Workshops Extract fan + lighting On entering, the light is switched on and the ventilation is adjusted Lighting load – according to manufacturer's diagram Garage Roof or duct fan Ventilation and lighting from one place Set the min. limit with the trimmer Kitchen Kitchen hood fan Smooth speed control Enable quick start if the motor has difficulty starting How to select the controller current
Rated current of the motor(s) Recommended model 0.5–6 A SLM-0-60-AT (6 A) 6–10 A SLM-0100-AT (10 A) ← this model Rule: controller max. current ≥ motor rated current (see the motor nameplate). The starting current is already accounted for by the manufacturer; no additional margin is needed. When connecting several fans – motors of the same type – add up their rated currents.When to choose another solution: no lighting switch needed – ITR-9 series; automation needed – EVS-1 series; for an EC fan – an EC potentiometer.Pros
- Integrated lighting switch
- High current (up to 10 A)
- Adjustable min. / max. limits
- Quick start
- IP54
Cons / limitations
- No 0-10 VDC input and no Modbus
- Operating temperature up to +35 °C
- Only for single-phase voltage-controllable motors
- The output voltage is non-sinusoidal – some motors may hum audibly at low speed
Safety and installation notes
- Installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician with the power disconnected.
- Connect unregulated output loads strictly according to the manufacturer's diagram.
- The motor current must be within 0.5–10 A.
- Intended for indoor use only.
Quick selection guide
10 A230 VACLight switchIP54Suitable when you need:- to control the fan and lighting from one place;
- motor current 0.5–10 A;
- a robust IP54 enclosure.
Check before use:- the motor current;
- the lighting load;
- whether the motor is voltage-controllable.
Important reminder: SLM-0100-AT does not control EC fans or three-phase motors.FAQ
