    DTS-MB-BK-ASM – a Sentera Controls mounting bracket for DTS-M and DTS-L duct temperature transmitters. It allows the transmitter to be fixed to a flat surface, e.g. a room wall, and thus used not only in a duct.

    Key idea:
    When a DTS-M transmitter has to be mounted not in a duct but on a wall or structure, the bracket with all screws, plugs and the cable gland solves the mounting without improvisation.

    Operating principle

    The 1.2 mm cold-rolled unalloyed steel DC01 (DIN EN 10130) bracket is fixed to the wall with 3 screws and wall dowels, and the transmitter is fixed to it with 2 sets of stainless steel screws, nuts and washers; the cable enters through the supplied cable gland.

    The transmitter probe remains freely washed by the ambient air, so the duct DTS-M measures the temperature of a room or technical zone and passes it on over the Modbus RTU network.

    Result – the same Modbus sensor is used both in a duct and on a wall. The bracket is a mechanical accessory with no electrical parameters, and the sensor (DTS-M-080 / DTS-M-160) is purchased separately.

    Practical application

    If the air temperature of a server room has to be added to an existing Sentera Modbus network, then the DTS-M-080 is fixed to the wall with the DTS-MB-BK-ASM bracket using 3 screws with pins, and the cable is routed through the supplied cable gland.
