Smart battery-free NFC cabinet lock – a compact solution for mailboxes, drawers, cabinets and other doors up to 16 mm thick. The lock is unlocked using an NFC-enabled smartphone, which transmits not only access authorization but also the energy required for operation via NFC, so the lock has no internal battery and does not need charging. The unlocking distance is <1 cm, response time is approximately 2–4 s, and access permissions and usage history can be managed through the app.

  • Smart NFC Cabinet Lock without Battery | phone as key and power source | for doors ≤16 mm | black

Passive smart NFC cabinet lock without an internal battery, designed for mailboxes, office drawers, school and gym lockers, storage cabinets and other similar locking applications. Unlocking is performed using an NFC-enabled smartphone, which transmits both access authorization and the energy required for operation to the lock via NFC.

    Main idea

There is no battery inside the lock, so there is no need to charge it or replace a power cell. During unlocking, the phone is brought within less than 1 cm of the NFC zone, and the lock receives power and verifies the user's access permission via NFC.

    Operating principle

The lock operates on a passive principle and has no internal battery. The user brings an NFC-enabled smartphone close to the NFC zone located on the front of the lock.

Through the NFC connection, the phone transmits the energy required for unlocking and the authorization information to the lock. Once access permission is confirmed, the lock is unlocked.

The phone becomes both the key and the power source

There is no battery inside the lock and no separate power supply is required. During unlocking, energy is transferred from an NFC-enabled smartphone, so the lock does not need to be charged or periodically maintained for power.

    NFC unlocking

For unlocking, the phone is held less than 1 cm from the lock's NFC zone. Unlocking response time is approximately 2–4 seconds.

    Access rights management

    • The administrator can grant a user permission to use the lock.
    • User access rights can be managed.
    • An access period can be set.
    • An authorized user can unlock the lock using their NFC-enabled smartphone.

    Unlocking records

The application allows viewing lock and unlock records as well as the lock's usage status.
