24Alarm inputs9"Colour touchscreen LCD24V DCPower supply / status signals1msSOE event recordingMain application
The terminal is designed to centrally receive, process and display various fault, process and status signals to the operator. Up to 24 individual alarms can be displayed on one screen.
The system can be used either as a standalone 24-channel alarm terminal or as part of a larger networked annunciation system in which several similar terminals are interconnected.
From a single control panel to a large substation systemThe network architecture allows information and alarms to be exchanged between multiple terminals and enables integration into substation, power plant or industrial control systems.
24 alarm and status inputs
The standard configuration includes 24 alarm inputs. In this version, the input signal voltage is 24V DC.
The inputs are optoelectrically isolated, providing electrical isolation between the control electronics and external status signal circuits.
Parameter Specification Number of alarm inputs 24 Status input voltage 24V DC Input isolation Optoelectronic SOE recording Up to 1ms time resolution 9" colour touchscreen LCD
The device uses a 9" colour LCD with LED backlight and capacitive touch control. Display resolution – 800x480 pixels.
In the standard 24-alarm configuration, approximately 30x25mm of screen area is allocated to each alarm.
Configurable alarm display
Each alarm can be individually configured according to the control logic of the installation. Different colours can be used on the screen to distinguish alarm type or priority.
Alarm background colours Red, yellow, green, white Alarm colours Red, yellow, green, white Font colour Configurable Flashing function Yes Audible alarm Integrated Alarm acknowledgement and reset
The operator can select a flashing alarm simply by touching it on the screen or by using the navigation arrows.
Once an alarm is selected, the Accept function can be used to acknowledge it, while Reset restores the status according to the configured operating logic.
Pressing and holding an alarm field or using the Enter function opens more detailed alarm information.
Physical control buttons
Button group Functions Operating buttons Audio Silence, Reset, Accept, Lamp Test Navigation buttons Up, down, left, right, Confirm / Enter LED status indicators
Separate front-panel LED indicators provide a quick overview of the main device states.
- Audio Silence – audible alarm mute status.
- Fail – fault status.
- Run – normal device operation.
- Lamp Test – indication test status.
SOE – Sequence of Events recording
The alarm terminal includes a Sequence of Events (SOE) function for recording the time of status changes.
Up to 1ms time resolutionEvent recording with up to 1ms resolution makes it possible to reconstruct the sequence of fault or process events more accurately and to analyse the operation of protection, automation and control functions.
Communication protocols
This version is intended for integration into industrial and power-system communication networks and supports several major communication protocols.
Protocol Configuration Modbus RTU Yes – default protocol IEC 61850 Server Yes – MMS IEC 61850 GOOSE Yes DNP3.0 Yes IRIG-B Yes – for time synchronisation IEC 61850 integration
The terminal supports IEC 61850 Server functionality with MMS data exchange and GOOSE communication.
This enables integration into modern substation automation systems and allows status and alarm information to be transferred to a higher-level control or SCADA system.
DNP3.0 and Modbus RTU
DNP3.0 support allows the terminal to be used in power-system telecontrol and remote-control systems, while Modbus RTU enables integration into standard industrial automation systems.
IRIG-B time synchronisation
The integrated time synchronisation port supports the IRIG-B protocol. Accurate time synchronisation is particularly important when SOE recording is used and event timestamps from several devices need to be compared.
Networked system
Devices can be connected into a network, allowing information and alarms from other terminals connected to the same network to be viewed on one terminal, depending on the system configuration.
An integrated WEB-type viewing function is used for this purpose, allowing information from other system devices to be accessed from one terminal.
Ethernet and serial interfaces
Ethernet 4x RJ45 / 100M RS232 2 ports RS485 2 ports CAN 1 port Time synchronisation IRIG-B Audible alarm indication
The terminal has an integrated audible alarm function. The operator can mute the audible signal using the Audio Silence function without clearing the alarm displayed on the screen.
This makes it possible to separate the alarm's audible notification, acknowledgement and final reset.
Display ON/OFF modes
Display operation can be configured according to the requirements of the control centre.
- Switch on by touching the screen or pressing a button
- Switch off after 10 minutes
- Switch off after 30 minutes
- Switch on when an alarm occurs
- Continuous display operation

Practical application example
In an electrical substation, 24 different 24V DC status signals are connected to the terminal: circuit breaker status, protection relay signals, transformer alarms, DC system, UPS and other equipment states.
When one of the fault signals appears, the corresponding alarm field on the display starts flashing in the selected colour and the audible alarm is activated.
The operator selects the alarm on the touchscreen and presses Accept. The audible signal can be muted using Audio Silence, while the alarm itself remains visible until the cause is cleared.
The event timestamp is recorded in the SOE log with up to 1ms resolution, while the information can be transmitted to the substation SCADA system via IEC 61850, DNP3.0 or Modbus.
IRIG-B synchronisation allows event timing to be aligned with other protection, metering and automation systems.
