  • Photoelectric retro-reflective sensor | 3000mm | M18 | 10-30VDC | NO | NPN | 2m cable | PBT housing | infrared LED beam | IP67

    Code: PR18S-DM3DNO

The photoelectric retro-reflective type sensor is a universal and reliable automation device designed for detecting opaque objects using a reflector (TD-09).
Made of PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), it provides high resistance to environmental influences, dust, and vibration, while the IP67 protection rating allows its use even in demanding industrial conditions.
The sensor operates on the infrared principle and can be easily integrated into various control and automation systems.

    Output indicator: Yellow LED

    Main functions:
The retro-reflective sensor uses a single optical module for both transmitting and receiving light.
The infrared beam reflects from a special reflector (TD-09), and when an object interrupts the beam between the sensor and the reflector, a signal is triggered.
This principle allows non-contact object detection from a distance, while the internal system ensures reliable performance even in the presence of ambient light, dust, or steam.

    Applications:

For home users: Suitable for detecting metal in workshops or personal automation projects.

For engineers/automation specialists: Widely used in factories, conveyors, packaging, transport, sorting systems, robotics, and CNC machines. Suitable for detecting metal, plastic, cardboard, glass, or other opaque materials.

For electricians/technicians: Easily connects to PLCs, relays, or direct automation systems. The IP67 protection allows safe use in humid or dusty environments.

    Pros:

    High accuracy and fast response

Protection against environmental interference (dust, vibration)

IP67 protection – resistant to moisture and dirt

    Suitable for industrial systems

    Cons:

Requires reflector (TD-09) as an additional component

Not suitable for completely transparent or mirror-like objects
