  • Photoelectric retro-reflective sensor | 3000mm | M18 | 10-30VDC | NO+NC | PNP | M12 | nickel-copper housing | infrared LED beam | IP67

    Code: PR18-DM3DPR-E2

The photoelectric retro-reflective type sensor is a versatile and reliable automation device designed for detecting opaque objects using a reflector (TD-09).
Made from a nickel-copper alloy, it ensures high resistance to environmental influences, corrosion, dust, and vibration, while the IP67 protection rating allows its use even in harsh industrial conditions.
The sensor operates on the infrared principle and can be easily integrated into various control and automation systems.

Insulation resistance: ≥50 MΩ (500V DC)
    Output indication: Yellow LED

    Main functions:

The retroreflective sensor uses a single optical unit for both light emission and reception.
The infrared beam reflects off a special reflector (TD-09), and when an object interrupts the beam, the sensor activates the output signal.
This principle allows object detection from a distance without direct contact, ensuring reliable operation even under ambient light, dust, or vapor conditions.

    Applications:

For home users: Suitable for metal detection in workshops or DIY automation projects.
For engineers/automation specialists: Commonly used in factories, conveyors, packaging, transport, sorting systems, robotics, and CNC equipment. Suitable for detecting metal, plastic, cardboard, glass, or other opaque objects.
For electricians/technicians: Easily connects to PLCs, relays, or automation systems. IP67 protection ensures safe use in humid or dusty environments.

    Advantages:

    High accuracy and fast response

Resistant to environmental disturbances (dust, light, vibration)

IP67 protection – resistant to moisture and dirt

    Suitable for industrial systems

    Disadvantages:

    Requires a reflector (TD-09) – additional component

Not suitable for completely transparent or mirror-like objects
