  • Photoelectric sensor | Through-beam type | Transmitter + receiver | 2000 mm | 21,8x14,5x8,4mm | 10-30VDC | NO | NPN | 2 m cable | ABS | Red light beam | IP65

    Code: PST-TM2DNOR

The through-beam photoelectric sensor is a compact yet high-quality device designed for object detection.
Using a visible red light spot, the sensor ensures simple and quick optical alignment, while the M3 threaded housing allows convenient integration even into very narrow equipment or robot housings.

Made of durable ABS plastic with a PMMA lens and featuring an IP65 protection rating, the sensor is resistant to dust, moisture, and mechanical impact, making it ideal for both industrial automation and household system applications.

    Functions and Operating Principle

The sensor operates on the through-beam principle – a light beam is transmitted from the emitter to the receiver module.
When an object passes between them and interrupts the light path, the receiver detects the interruption and outputs a signal.
This operation ensures very high detection accuracy and low false trigger probability, making it suitable even for small or fast-moving objects.

    Use and Application

For home users or hobbyists: Suitable for object detection in workshops or individual automation projects.
For engineers / automation specialists: Used in robotics, production lines, conveyors, counting or positioning systems.
For electricians / technicians: Easy installation due to compact housing; clear LED indicators help quickly determine the operating state and detect faults.
