We will help you set up speed and automatic control

We will advise how to adjust this fan's speed and how to switch or control it automatically according to room conditions – humidity, temperature or CO₂ concentration. We will select a suitable speed controller, thermostat, humidity or CO₂ sensor and explain how to connect them.

    Contact us: tel. +370 658 01033 or e-mail info@elsprendimai.eu

In your e-mail, briefly describe the situation: room purpose and size, fan model and what you want to control – speed, humidity, temperature or CO₂.

Wholesale quantities: special prices for larger orders. State the required quantity in your e-mail and we will send you an individual offer.

    Operating principle

The forward-curved impeller draws air in through the axial inlet, protected by a metal mesh, and the scroll housing directs it to the outlet. This design generates higher pressure than axial fans, overcoming the resistance of ducts, grilles and filters.

The 4-pole motor runs slower (≈1400 rpm at 50 Hz), so it is quieter and puts less load on the ductwork, with lower airflow and pressure. The outlet position (left-hand) is defined as seen from the motor side – check on which side the duct will be connected before ordering.

    Why choose this fan?
High pressure in a compact body – one fan serves a whole duct system, and wall or ceiling mounting saves space.

    Main functions

    • High pressure – Up to 1100 Pa – overcomes the resistance of long ducts, filters and grilles.
    • Airflow – Up to 1300 m³/h for local or general ventilation.
    • Protected inlet – Metal mesh prevents foreign objects from entering.
    • Durable housing – Powder-coated steel, IP44 protection against particles and water splashes.
    • Speed control – Speed can be controlled with a single-phase triac or autotransformer speed controller sized to the motor current.

    Where is it used?

    • Production halls and workshops
    • Warehouses and logistics premises
    • Boiler rooms and plant rooms
    • Car services and garages
    • Commercial kitchen extraction (with grease filters)
    • Ducted supply and exhaust systems

    Use by need

    For installers.
Left-hand and right-hand outlet versions let you match the fan to the duct route.
    For businesses.
One fan serves the duct network of several rooms – less equipment and maintenance.
    For designers.
Clear data – airflow, pressure, power and dimensions – make selection against the system curve easy.

    Practical application

When selecting the fan, calculate the required air volume and duct network resistance: the stated 1300 m³/h is achieved at zero resistance, and airflow falls as pressure rises. For longer networks choose a 2-pole or Plus series model; for quieter operation choose 4-pole.

    Pros

    • Up to 1300 m³/h airflow
    • Up to 1100 Pa pressure
    • Steel housing, IP44
    • Ball bearings – long service life
    • Left-hand and right-hand versions

    Cons / limitations

    • Louder than duct fans – silencers recommended
    • Outlet side cannot be changed later
    • Not certified for fire smoke extraction systems
    • Airflow drops as duct resistance increases

    Safety and installation notes

    • Installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician
    • Fit a circuit breaker and motor protection in the supply circuit
    • Mount the fan on a solid base with anti-vibration mounts
    • Disconnect power before maintenance
    • Keep inlet and outlet unobstructed
    • Do not use in explosive atmospheres or for aggressive gases

    Quick selection guide

    350 W
    IP44
    Suitable when you need:
    • ventilate a workshop, warehouse or production hall via ducts
    • extract air from several rooms with one fan
    • build a supply system with filters and a heater
    Check before use:
    • the supply voltage matches (230 V)
    • on which side the outlet duct will be connected
    • the pressure is sufficient for your duct network
    • a suitable place and solid base for mounting
Important reminder: A radial fan works efficiently only when its curve matches the resistance of the duct system.

    FAQ

What is the difference between left-hand and right-hand versions?
The outlet position as seen from the motor side. Technical data are identical.
What is the difference between 2-pole and 4-pole motors?
A 2-pole motor runs at ≈2800 rpm and delivers higher airflow and pressure; a 4-pole motor runs at ≈1400 rpm and is quieter.
    Can the speed be controlled?
Yes. Speed can be controlled with a single-phase triac or autotransformer speed controller sized to the motor current.
Is it suitable for fire smoke extraction?
No. The fan is intended for general ventilation and is not certified for smoke extraction systems.
    Can it be installed outdoors?
Only under a canopy protected from direct rain: IP44 protects against splashes, not downpours.
    What duct diameter is connected?
Connection diameter is Ø200 mm. Check the connection dimensions against your duct system before installation.
