The smart ADAX AFWT WiFi is a wall-mounted thermostat designed for controlling electric underfloor heating, infrared heating panels and other compatible electric heating systems. ADAX AFWT WiFi combines room thermostat control, floor temperature control, weekly programming and remote Wi-Fi control in one device. It can regulate heating according to room temperature, floor temperature or use combined control, where room temperature is regulated while the maximum floor temperature is limited. This is particularly relevant for electric underfloor heating systems and temperature-sensitive floor coverings.

An NTC floor temperature sensor – 22 kΩ at 25 °C is included. A different floor sensor resistance value can also be selected in the Advanced settings, allowing the thermostat to be adapted to some existing floor sensors.

Open Window is designed to detect a sudden drop in room temperature typical of an open window. Adaptive allows the thermostat to evaluate the heating characteristics of the room and determine when heating should start so that the set temperature is reached at the scheduled time. This function is used together with weekly programming.

The thermostat connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and supports 802.11 b/g/n. Using the ADAX Wi-Fi app, the thermostat can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet.

The app allows the temperature to be changed, weekly schedules to be configured and heating to be controlled remotely. Bluetooth simplifies the initial pairing of the thermostat with the mobile app.
