Smart battery-free NFC padlock – a convenient solution for gates, trailers, trucks and other objects where electronic access control is required without a permanent power supply. The lock can be unlocked using an NFC-enabled smartphone via an app or with a mechanical key. It receives the power required for operation directly from the phone during NFC communication, so there is no need to charge it or replace a battery. The durable zinc alloy body, IP66 protection and operating temperature range from −25 °C to +65 °C make the padlock suitable for use in various operating conditions.

  • Smart NFC Padlock without Battery | IP66 | NFC APP | mechanical key | zinc alloy

Passive smart padlock without an internal battery and without the need for charging. Unlocking is performed using an NFC-enabled smartphone or a mechanical key. Through the NFC connection, the phone supplies the lock with the energy and authorization required for unlocking, so there is no battery inside the lock and no need for periodic charging.

    Main idea

This is a battery-free smart lock whose electronics are activated via NFC from a smartphone. The smartphone acts as both the power source and the electronic key. Mechanical key unlocking also remains available as an additional option.

    Power supply
    NFC from smartphone
    Unlocking
    NFC APP / mechanical key
    Protection rating
    IP66
    Material
    Zinc alloy

    Operating principle

There is no battery inside the lock. During unlocking, an NFC-enabled smartphone is brought close to the lock's NFC zone. Through near-field communication, the lock receives the energy required for operation together with electronic authorization.

Once access authorization is confirmed, the lock is unlocked. Because power is supplied only during the unlocking process, the lock does not require a permanent power source and does not need to be charged.

The phone is both the power source and the key

NFC is used not only for authorization but also to briefly power the lock electronics. As a result, the lock contains no battery, has no standby power consumption and does not require periodic charging.

    Unlocking methods

    NFC APP
The lock is unlocked using an NFC-enabled smartphone through a mobile application.
    Mechanical key
Mechanical key unlocking is additionally supported.

    NFC access authorization

Access permissions can be managed in the application. The administrator can authorize users who are allowed to use the NFC lock. An authorized user can unlock the lock using their smartphone.
