    SONOFF MS01 is a capacitive soil moisture sensor (0–100 %, IP55) with an RJ9 connector and a 50 cm cable. Designed for SONOFF THR316 and THR320 controllers – it enables automatic watering based on soil moisture. The cable can be extended to 10 m.

    SONOFF MS01 is a capacitive soil moisture sensor with an RJ9 connector and a 50 cm cable. It connects to SONOFF THR316 and THR320 controllers and allows plants to be watered automatically based on actual soil moisture.

    Key idea:
    Watering based on need, not the clock: when the soil dries out, the THR controller switches on a pump or valve, and switches it off when the set moisture is reached.

    How it works

    The sensor is inserted into the soil near the plant roots and connected to a THR316 or THR320 controller via the RJ9 connector.

    The capacitive element measures soil moisture without exposed electrodes prone to corrosion, and the controller displays the value and sends it to eWeLink.

    In automatic mode, limits are set: e.g. the irrigation pump switches on when moisture drops below 30 % and off at 60 %.

    Practical use
