SONOFF THR316D (TH Elite) is a smart Wi-Fi controller with an LCD screen that controls heating, humidification, ventilation or other equipment based on the readings of a connected sensor. 16 A power relay, additional dry contact, DIN rail or surface mounting.

Key idea:
THR316D replaces a simple room thermostat or humidity controller with a smart one: temperature and humidity are shown on the screen and in the app, and the load is switched according to set limits, schedules or scenes. The sensor is purchased separately.

How it works

The controller is mounted in a distribution board on a DIN rail or on a wall, connected to 100–240 V power, and a SONOFF THS01, WTS01 or MS01 sensor is connected via the RJ9 (4P4C) port. The load (e.g. electric underfloor heating) is connected via the 16 A relay contact.

Temperature or humidity limits are set in the eWeLink app: when they are reached, the relay switches the load on or off. The additional dry contact (5–30 V, 1 A) works in sync with the main relay and can control low-voltage equipment, e.g. a boiler control input.

The result: the room climate is maintained automatically, readings are visible on the screen and phone, history is stored for up to 6 months, and notifications report when limits are exceeded.

Why choose THR316D?
A 16 A power relay and a dry contact in one device make it possible to control both a 230 V load and low-voltage control circuits. Sensors can be swapped while the controller is running, so the system is easy to adapt to heating, humidification or pool water.
