ADAX WiFi WT3 Plug is inserted into a standard wall socket, and the appliance to be controlled is connected to the smart plug. In the app, the user selects whether the socket will operate as a simple remote ON/OFF switch or as a thermostatic controller for a heating appliance.
In thermostat mode, the integrated sensor measures the room temperature and the socket switches the connected electric heater on or off according to the set temperature. In ON/OFF mode, the connected appliance can be switched on and off via the app.
Two main control functions
ON/OFF control
Used for electrical appliances that need to be switched on or off remotely – for example a heater, coffee machine or another plug-in device.Thermostat mode
The integrated temperature sensor allows an electric heater to be controlled according to a set room temperature of 5–35 °C.Wi-Fi and Bluetooth control
The device is used with the ADAX Wi-Fi app. Bluetooth simplifies the initial pairing of the smart plug with the app and Wi-Fi network.
Once connected to Wi-Fi, its settings can be controlled remotely from a smartphone or tablet.
Smart functions
Weekly schedules
Individual weekly heating or ON/OFF schedules can be created in the app.Energy consumption overview
The app includes a function for monitoring the energy consumption of the connected appliance.Smart Home integration
Smart home integration is specified in the manufacturer information.Remote control
Settings can be changed through the app regardless of location when the device is connected to the network.Thermostat function 5–35 °C
In thermostat mode, the desired temperature can be set from 5 to 35 °C. The integrated temperature sensor monitors the room temperature, while the socket controls the power supply of the connected electric heater according to the set value. This allows an older electric radiator or another compatible heating appliance to be upgraded with programmable and remote control.
Maximum load – 16 A / 3680 W
The maximum load is 16 A or 3680 W.
Before connecting a heater or another electrical appliance, its rated power and current must be checked. The load of the connected device must not exceed the permitted values of the smart plug.
