    IMOU N118W (NVR-N118W-8A0E) is an 18-channel Wi-Fi 6 network video recorder for larger sites: Wi-Fi and wired LAN cameras up to 8 MP are combined into one system. HDMI output up to 4K, one SATA drive up to 16 TB (not included), person and vehicle detection.

    Connectivity and integration

    • Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) – Cameras connect directly to the NVR via 4 external antennas; via Wi-Fi: 2.4 GHz – up to 8 cameras, 5 GHz – up to 8 cameras. The 5 GHz band helps when 2.4 GHz is congested by neighbouring networks.
    • RJ45 LAN 10/100 Mbps – The NVR connects to the router; wired cameras are added via LAN and fill the remaining channels (total bandwidth up to 90 Mbps).
    • IMOU Life app – Remote access on iOS / Android: live view, playback, person and vehicle notifications.

    How it works

    The NVR is placed indoors, a 3.5" SATA drive (up to 16 TB) is fitted, the 4 antennas and the DC 12 V 2 A adapter are connected. The NVR goes to the router with an RJ45 cable, to a monitor via HDMI, and a mouse into USB.

    IMOU Wi-Fi cameras pair automatically and connect over Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 or 5 GHz, ONVIF and wired cameras via LAN. Recording is compressed with H.265, and the NVR detects motion, people and vehicles.

    The result – recordings from up to 18 cameras on one drive, picture on a 4K monitor and in the IMOU Life app, and any clip exported to a USB stick in MP4 format.
