Temperature-based fan speed and electric heater controller | 5-35°C | 6A | 230VAC | Schuko sockets | Sentera Controls | GTEE1-60-DT
GTEE1-60-DT – Sentera Controls “plug & play” fan and electric heater controller for maintaining temperature. It controls extract and supply fans (total current up to 6 A) and an electric heater up to 16 A (3.6 kW) – everything is connected via Schuko sockets.
Key idea:
For a greenhouse, barn or farm building – with no wiring at all: plug the fans and heater into the sockets, set the temperature, and the controller maintains the climate on its own.What it is for GTEE1-60-DT:
This model is designed for larger sites – more powerful fans or a pair of fans (total current up to 6 A), e.g. a larger greenhouse or barn.Fans

The controller is fixed to the wall with its integrated plate and plugged into a socket outlet with a standard plug. The fans and heater are plugged into three Schuko sockets: extract fan, supply fan and heater.
Temperature is measured by a PT500 capillary sensor (4 m cable). When the temperature exceeds the set value, the fan speed increases (proportional band 3 °C); when the temperature drops, the heater is switched on.
Fan speed is controlled by phase angle between Vmin (80–160 VAC) and Vmax (180–230 VAC); settings are changed with potentiometers.
Engineer's note: with an AC induction motor, reducing the voltage increases rotor losses, so the savings are lower than with an EC fan or a frequency inverter; when completely silent operation at low speed is essential, choose a transformer controller with a sinusoidal output voltage.
Benefits GTEE1-60-DT?
One device replaces a thermostat, two speed controllers and a heater switch – no electrician's work and no control panel.Technical specifications

Main functions
- Plug & play – the fans and heater are connected via Schuko sockets – no wiring required.
- Temperature maintenance – as it gets warmer, ventilation increases; as it gets cooler, heating is switched on.
- Two fan outputs – extraction and supply are controlled together.
- Heater output 3.6 kW – an electric air heater.
- Adjustable Vmin / Vmax – adapted to the specific fans.
Where is it used?
- Greenhouses
- Barns, poultry houses, farm buildings
- Warehouses and workshops where temperature must be maintained
- Temporary premises, construction site facilities
On-demand operation
For the farmer.
Plug in and it works – no electrician and no control panel.For the greenhouse owner.
Automatic ventilation and heating based on temperature.For the installer.
Minimal installation time.Application guide: how it is used in practice
Typical GTEE1-60-DT applications:
Site What is connected Result Installer's note Greenhouse Extract fan + electric heater Ventilation by day, heating by night – temperature is maintained automatically Install the sensor at plant height, not next to the heater Barn, poultry house Supply and extract fans Temperature-based ventilation intensity Set Vmin so that the minimum airflow is ensured Warehouse Extract fan + heater Prevents overheating or overcooling Heater power – up to 3.6 kW How to select the controller current
Rated current of the motor(s) Recommended model up to 3 A GTEE1-30-DT (3 A) 3–6 A GTEE1-60-DT (6 A) ← this model Rule: total rated fan current ≤ controller current; heater power – up to 3.6 kW (16 A).When to choose another solution: only the fan needs to be controlled by a 0-10 VDC sensor – EVS-1 series; for a water heater – GTH21 series (transformer-based); for EC fans – EC controllers.Pros
- Plug & play via Schuko sockets
- Ventilation and heating in one
- PT500 sensor with 4 m cable
- Heater up to 3.6 kW
- IP54
Cons / limitations
- No display – settings via potentiometers
- No Modbus
- Only for single-phase voltage-controllable fans; not suitable for EC
- Heater is only switched on / off
- The output voltage is non-sinusoidal – some motors may hum audibly at low speed
Safety and installation notes
- Connect only to an earthed socket outlet with suitable protection.
- Total fan current – no more than 6 A, heater – no more than 16 A.
- Intended for indoor use only.
- Protect the sensor from direct heater airflow and sunlight.
Quick selection guide
6 A fans3.6 kW heater5–35 °CPlug & playSuitable when you need:- to maintain temperature without a control panel or wiring;
- to control ventilation and electric heating together;
- for a greenhouse, barn or warehouse.
Check before use:- the fan current and whether they are voltage-controllable;
- the heater power (up to 3.6 kW);
- whether the socket outlet can handle the total load.
Important reminder: The total load on a single socket outlet can be high – check the circuit protection.FAQ
