    Self-adhesive cable holder – flat, black, PA66, 16 × 15.4 mm

    Self-adhesive cable holder is designed to neatly secure wires and cables to a smooth surface. The flat-profile holder helps route a cable in the required direction, reduces the amount of freely hanging wiring and enables tidier cable organisation inside electrical panels, cabinets, equipment, furniture and other technical structures.

    The holder is made of PA66 polyamide, also known as nylon 66. An adhesive base is fitted on the underside, so no drilling of mounting holes or use of additional screws is required. After removing the protective liner, the holder is pressed onto a clean, dry and smooth surface.

    The curved retaining section helps keep the cable inside the holder, while the compact 16 × 15.4 mm external dimensions allow the product to be used in installations with limited space.

    Installation without drilling:
    The adhesive base allows the holder to be installed without screws, rivets or separate fastening elements. This is especially convenient when mounting it on a panel wall, plastic enclosure, piece of furniture or another surface that cannot or should not be drilled.
    Important information about adhesion:
    Adhesion strength depends on the surface material, cleanliness, smoothness, temperature, cable weight and mechanical load. The holder adheres best to a smooth, dry, degreased and dust-free surface.
    Not intended for high load-bearing loads:
    This holder is intended for organising and supporting cables, but it should not be used as the primary fastening for heavy cables, moving wire harnesses or safety-critical components. Mechanical fastening must be used where higher loads are present.

    Flat cable-retaining design

    The holder has a low-profile flat design, so it protrudes only slightly from the mounting surface after installation. The cable is inserted through the opening and held beneath the upper curved section of the holder.

    The side retaining tab helps reduce the risk of the cable slipping out of the holder by itself. At the same time, the wire can be inserted without using an additional cable tie.

    Self-adhesive base

    The underside of the holder has an adhesive layer covered by a protective liner. Before installation, the liner is removed and the holder is pressed onto the prepared surface.

    This installation method allows a cable route to be formed quickly and avoids the need for additional mounting holes. Holders can be positioned at several points so that the cable is routed straight, at an angle or around structural elements.

    Surface preparation:
    Before bonding, the surface must be cleaned of dust, grease, moisture, silicone, oil and other substances that reduce adhesion. Do not apply to peeling paint or to very rough or damp surfaces.

    PA66 polyamide construction

    The holder is made of PA66 polyamide. This material is widely used in electrical installation and cable-management products due to its mechanical strength, low weight and resistance to normal temperature effects.

    The black colour makes the holder less noticeable when installed on dark cables, electrical panels, equipment housings, furniture and other dark surfaces.

    Installation procedure

    1. Select the installation location. Check that the surface is smooth and suitable for adhesive mounting.
    2. Check the cable dimensions. The cable must fit freely inside the holder opening.
    3. Clean the surface. Remove dust, grease, moisture and other contaminants.
    4. Allow the surface to dry completely.
    5. Remove the protective liner from the adhesive base. Do not touch the adhesive surface with your fingers.
    6. Position the holder precisely. Once bonded, repositioning is not recommended.
    7. Press firmly. Press the holder evenly against the surface for several seconds.
    8. Wait for the adhesive layer to bond. Do not load the holder immediately.
    9. Insert the cable.
    10. Check the retention. The cable must not pull excessively on the holder or apply strong lateral pressure.

    Recommendations for use and safety

    • Apply only to a clean, dry and stable surface.
    • Do not use on dusty, greasy or peeling surfaces.
    • Do not bend the cable below the minimum bend radius specified for it.
    • Do not overload the holder with heavy or tensioned cables.
    • Do not use the holder as strain relief against cable pull-out.
    • Do not install where the cable moves or vibrates continuously unless additional fastening is provided.
    • Do not use on very rough or porous surfaces without first checking adhesion.
    • For safety-critical installations, use additional mechanical fastening.
