The mini model operates according to the same mechanical principle as the standard rotary version, but features a smaller housing, a more compact process connection and a smaller-diameter shaft. The housing width is approximately 71.5mm, a 3/4" PF process connection is used, and the shaft diameter is Φ6mm.

This switch does not measure material level in centimetres, metres or percentages. It operates as a point level sensor: the contact switches when the bulk material reaches the paddle. It can therefore be used for both high-level and low-level control.

The smaller 71.5mm-wide housing and 3/4" PF process connection allow this version to be used in more compact tanks, small hoppers and other equipment where there is insufficient space for a standard-size rotary switch.

The curved paddle must have sufficient clearance to rotate freely and must not touch the tank wall, pipes, supports or other internal structures. The installation location should also be selected so that a strong direct flow of material does not fall onto the paddle and cause additional mechanical load.

The mini rotary paddle level switch can be used in production, storage and processing systems where it is necessary to detect whether bulk material has reached a specific point in a tank. Due to its more compact dimensions, it is especially suitable for smaller hoppers, dosing equipment, compact tanks and other systems where installation space is limited.

In a small plastic pellet hopper there is not enough space for a standard-size level switch. The mini rotary paddle switch is installed in the upper part of the hopper using the 3/4" PF process connection. As long as the pellets do not reach the paddle, the 230VAC motor rotates it at approximately 1 rpm. When the hopper becomes full, the pellets stop the paddle, the SPDT contact switches, and the signal is transmitted to the controller, which can stop the pellet supply or activate a full-hopper alarm.

The mini version has a smaller 71.5mm-wide housing, a 3/4" PF process connection, a Φ6mm shaft and a more compact design. The operating principle remains the same.

It detects whether bulk material has reached a specific point in the tank. It is a point level switch rather than a continuous level measuring device.
