WOOX R7050 is a wireless Zigbee 3.0 water leak sensor with an IP67 housing. Placed on the floor by the boiler, washing machine or under the sink, it detects water and immediately sends a notification to your phone.

Key idea:
A water leak is usually noticed too late – when the floor or the neighbours' ceiling is already damaged. R7050 reports the problem within seconds and can trigger an automation, e.g. close a smart valve. A Zigbee hub is required.

How it works

The sensor is placed on the floor where water may appear. When water bridges the contacts on the bottom, the sensor registers a leak.

The signal is sent via Zigbee 3.0 to a WOOX or other compatible Tuya Zigbee hub, and the WOOX Home, Tuya Smart or Smart Life app immediately sends a notification to your phone.

Automations can be created in the app: in case of a leak, turn on a siren, switch off a smart plug or close a water valve.
