    Plastic rotary deflector D160 – green

    The rotary roof deflector (wind turbine) is installed on a D160 mm ventilation duct or outlet. The wind spins the head, which creates negative pressure above the duct and helps extract air from the rooms – without electricity and without a motor.

    Key point

    The head rotates on ball bearings; the housing is made of UV-resistant ABS plastic with a built-in spirit level. ABS plastic does not rust and is unaffected by moisture, so it is also suitable for aggressive environments – livestock farms, damp rooms, coastal areas. Choose the colour to match the roof – ventilation outlets and flashings are available in the same colours.

    ⚠ For ventilation only

    The deflector is intended for ventilation ducts only – to extract humid and warm air. Do not install it on flues of stoves, fireplaces, sauna heaters or boilers: hot flue gases and acidic condensate will damage it, and there is a risk of fire and carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.

    How it works

    • The deflector is fitted onto a Ø160 mm pipe or ventilation outlet and levelled vertically with the spirit level.
    • The wind spins the head and extracts air from the duct.
    • Without wind the duct stays open for natural draught.
