Product description

Electric convection radiator | 500 W | only 180 mm high | without thermostat | IP20 | 1.20 m cable with plug + terminal box | Glamox Heating TLO 05

Glamox Heating TLO 05 – an ultra-low 500 W electric convection radiator with a height of only 180 mm. The TLO series is designed for locations where the available installation height is severely limited.

The radiator is supplied without a thermostat. The thermostat is selected and ordered separately and installed on the right-hand side of the radiator. With a suitable thermostat, the temperature adjustment range is 5–35 °C.

TLO 05 is supplied with a 1.20 m cable and plug for connection to a socket and also has a terminal box for fixed electrical installation. A wall-mounting bracket is included.

Key point

TLO 05 is a 500 W radiator with dimensions of 180 × 803 × 84 mm. This model combines an exceptionally low 180 mm height with higher heating power than TLO 03 and allows the thermostat to be selected separately.

Operating principle

Glamox Heating TLO 05 heats the room using the natural convection principle. Cooler air enters through the lower part of the radiator, is heated by the electric heating element and naturally rises into the room.

The radiator does not require a fan. According to the manufacturer's information, the TLO radiator does not burn air or dust.

500 W nominal power provides greater heating capacity than TLO 03 while maintaining the same exceptionally low radiator height of 180 mm.

Thermostat selected separately

TLO 05 is supplied without a thermostat. The thermostat must be selected and ordered separately and installed on the right-hand side of the radiator.

With a suitable thermostat, the temperature adjustment range is 5–35 °C.

Two electrical connection options

Socket connection
A 1.20 m power cable and plug are included. The cable is located on the right-hand side of the radiator.

Fixed installation
A terminal box is provided for fixed electrical installation wiring.

Ultra-low and slim housing

The radiator is only 180 mm high and 84 mm deep. These dimensions make the model suitable for very low installation locations while maintaining a nominal power of 500 W.

Overheating protection

The radiator is equipped with overheating protection – a thermal fuse. The maximum temperature of touchable surfaces is 80 °C.
