Operating principle

The box is fixed directly to a wall, structure or other surface. Cables enter through openings made in the housing fitted with suitably sized sealing cable glands, and terminals, connectors or other components are installed inside.

With the cover closed, the seal provides IP67 protection: the housing is dust-tight and withstands temporary immersion in water. The transparent cover shows the inside, so condition or indicators can be checked without dismantling the box.

The halogen-free material does not release halogen-containing gases in a fire, making it suitable for sites with higher fire safety requirements.
