Industrial socket box | 1×32 A 5P 400 V + 1×230 V 16 A | with rotary switch | wall-mounted | IP44 | Pawbol R-BOX KOMPAKT
Pawbol R-BOX KOMPAKT – a wall-mounted industrial socket box with one CEE 32 A 5P 400 V socket, one 230 V 16 A socket and a rotary switch in the enclosure. Designed as a fixed connection point for 32 A three-phase equipment and one household appliance in a garage, workshop or commercial premises.
Key point:
One compact IP44 box holds a three-phase socket, a household socket and a switch whose 0 position can be locked with a padlock. Useful where equipment needs local on/off control and safe isolation during servicing.Sockets

wall-mountedHow it works
The box is fixed to a wall. The supply cable enters through a PG21 cable gland and is connected to internal terminals; the supply cable is not included.
A rotary switch is built into the enclosure. R-BOX KOMPAKT is made with a 0-1 or an L-0-P switch (phase sequence reversal for changing motor rotation) – confirm the exact version when ordering. In position 0 the switch can be locked with a padlock.
There are no MCBs or RCDs inside. The line up to 32 A is protected in the panel by an MCB and a 30 mA RCD, and the 230 V 16 A socket requires 16 A protection – the box does not have it.
Why choose Pawbol R-BOX KOMPAKT 32 A?
One product instead of a separate CEE socket, household socket and switch: fewer boxes on the wall and fewer connections. The lockable 0 position lets you service connected equipment without the risk of someone switching it on.Technical specifications

- CEE 32 A 5P 400 V socket – for three-phase equipment with a 5-pin plug.
- 230 V 16 A socket – for a hand tool, lamp or charger next to the machine.
- Rotary switch – local on/off control at the equipment.
- Lockable 0 position – a padlock prevents accidental switch-on during servicing.
- IP44 – protection against solid objects over 1 mm and splashing water from all directions.
- PG21 cable entry – sealed entry of the supply cable.
How does it differ from similar products?
Pawbol R-BOX KOMPAKT 16 A (2220) Same design with a CEE 16 A 5P socket; the 230 V socket is protected by the 16 A line MCB. Famatel 3068 (8570) 1×CEE 32 A + 1×230 V box, IP44, no switch – when no switch is needed; check the CEE contact count (4P or 5P) on its product page. SEZ ROS 4/V-10 (2228) 1×32 A 5P + 2×230 V 16 A with 0–1 switch, IP44 – when two household sockets are needed. Where is it used?
- Garages and car service workshops
- Workshops and small production halls
- Commercial and storage premises
- Connection points for compressors, machine tools and welders
- Agricultural buildings (dry or covered areas)
- Technical rooms and boiler rooms
Use by need
For beginners.
The box is wall-mounted and permanently wired – connection is done by an electrician. Turn the switch to 0 before inserting or removing a plug. For experienced installers.
The cable enters through a PG21 gland. If the box has an L-0-P switch, check that positions L and P match the required motor rotation directions. For energy engineers / designers.
There are no protective devices inside. With a 32 A line MCB the 230 V 16 A socket is not properly protected – provide 16 A protection or choose a model with built-in MCBs.Practical use
In a workshop, a wall-mounted R-BOX KOMPAKT 32 A serves a machine tool with a CEE 32 A plug. The line from the panel is protected by a 32 A MCB and a 30 mA RCD, and the electrician provided 16 A protection for the 230 V socket circuit. Before changing tools the operator turns the switch to 0 and locks it with a padlock.Pros / advantages
- CEE 32 A 5P and 230 V sockets in one enclosure
- Built-in switch – no separate switch needed at the machine
- Position 0 lockable with a padlock
- Compact wall-mounted enclosure
- PG21 cable entry
Cons / limitations
- No MCBs or RCDs – protection must be in the panel
- 230 V 16 A socket without internal protection: behind a 32 A line MCB it requires separate 16 A protection
- IP44 – not for water jets or wash-down; for such areas choose a higher-IP product, e.g. the Scame 405.3287 socket (2382), IP66/IP67
- The switch version (0-1 or L-0-P) must be confirmed when ordering
Safety and installation notes
- ⚡ Installation and connection by a qualified electrician only, with the supply disconnected.
- ⚡ Protect the line with an MCB sized to the cable cross-section (max. 32 A) and a 30 mA RCD; the 230 V 16 A socket requires 16 A protection.
- The total load of all sockets must not exceed the rated current of the supply line MCB.
- The CEE 400 V socket needs a three-phase line – it cannot be used from a single-phase line.
- On construction sites, supply the box only from a construction site distribution board (HD 60364-7-704).
- The protective earth (PE) contact of the 230 V socket must be connected.
- IP44 applies only with the socket covers closed and the cable properly sealed in the PG21 gland.
Quick selection guide
CEE 32 A 5P + 230 VRotary switchIP44No protective devicesSuitable when you need:- A connection point for 32 A three-phase equipment and one household appliance
- Local on/off control at the machine
- The option to lock the switch while servicing equipment
Check before choosing:- The switch version: 0-1 or L-0-P (phase sequence reversal)
- Confirm the household socket type (Schuko or French with earth pin) when ordering
- Whether the panel has a 32 A MCB, a 30 mA RCD and 16 A protection for the 230 V socket
Important reminder: The box has no MCBs, RCDs or fuses – line protection is installed in the panel, and the 230 V socket requires 16 A protection. The switch is for local control and does not replace protective devices.☝ Elsprendimai.eu recommends:- Combined socket box selection guide – socket types, IP ratings, cable and protection sizing, “wrong / right” diagram.
- Modular equipment – MCBs and 30 mA RCDs for the supply line.
- Industrial plugs and sockets – CEE plugs for connecting equipment.
- Copper cables – with the right cross-section for the supply line.
FAQ
Does the box contain an MCB or RCD?
No. R-BOX KOMPAKT has only sockets and a rotary switch – protection is installed in the panel that supplies it.What is the difference between the 0-1 and L-0-P switch versions?
0-1 is simple on/off. L-0-P reverses the phase sequence and so changes the rotation direction of a three-phase motor. Is a supply cable included?
No. The box is permanently wired: the cable enters through the PG21 gland to the internal terminals. Can it be used outdoors?
IP44 protects against splashes with the covers closed – suitable under a canopy. For direct rain and water jets choose a higher-IP product. Can it be connected to a single-phase line?
The CEE 400 V socket needs a three-phase line, so it cannot be used from a single-phase supply. If you only need 230 V, choose a box with household sockets, e.g. Famatel 3064 (8578).Does the 230 V socket need separate protection?
Yes. If the box is supplied by a line with an MCB above 16 A, the 230 V 16 A socket requires 16 A protection – the box does not have it.Sources: Pawbol R-BOX KOMPAKT data from distributors listing the same catalogue code (B.325/1, B.325/1/01, B.325/1/LP: TIM.pl, Sonepar.pl, Empik).
