  • Industrial socket box | 1×32 A 5P 400 V + 2×230 V 16 A | with 0–1 switch | IP44 | SEZ ROS 4/V-10

    SEZ ROS 4/V-10 – SEZ socket box with 1×CEE 32 A 5P 400 V and 2×230 V 16 A domestic outlets. A 0–1 switch turns the outlet supply on and off. Enclosure protection – IP44.

    Key point:
One box gives you a three-phase outlet for heavier equipment and 230 V domestic outlets for hand tools, lighting or chargers. The switch lets you turn the outlets off locally without walking to the board. There are no MCBs or RCD in the box, so all protection must be in the supply board. The 230 V outlets have no protection of their own – behind a 32 A breaker they need separate 16 A protection.

    How it works

Supply: a 5-core cable (L1, L2, L3, N, PE) is brought in through a sealed cable entry and connected inside the box. A cable with plug is not listed in the manufacturer data – the installer selects it.

Outlets: the CEE 32 A 5P outlet receives all three phases, N and PE (400 V), while the 2×230 V outlets get one phase, N and PE (230 V). The 0–1 switch turns the outlet supply on and off.

Protection: the box is unprotected (no MCBs or RCD). An MCB (not above 32 A) and a 30 mA RCD are installed in the supply board; IP44 applies only with the outlet lids closed.

    Why choose SEZ ROS 4/V-10?
One three-phase cable gives you both 400 V and 230 V outlets without a separate board. The 0–1 switch lets you turn the outlets off locally. The 32 A outlet allows heavier equipment, but the 230 V outlets need separate 16 A protection.

    • 0–1 switch – outlets can be switched off locally
    • IP44 enclosure – protection against splashing water
    • Sealed cable entry – supply cable enters through a seal
    • No modules – simple design, protection stays in the supply board

How does it differ from similar products?

    SEZ ROS 4/V-12 (573) 1×16 A 5P + 2×230 V 16 A with 0–1 switch, IP44 – when outlets must be switched off locally.

    SEZ ROS 3203 D (2225) 2×16 A 5P + 2×32 A 5P, IP44 – when 32 A outlets are needed but 230 V is not.
SEZ BZS 3253 (2381) Single 32 A 5P socket with switch and mechanical interlock, IP44 – when no 230 V outlets are needed and the plug must not be pulled under load.

    Where is it used?

    • Garages and car service shops
    • Workshops and production areas
    • Farm buildings and barns
    • Temporary power for repairs and events
    • Construction work – fed from a site board
    • Indoor and covered areas

    Use by need

    Beginner.
The box comes fully fitted – it needs a suitable cable and connection to a protected board. It is not an extension lead with breakers: leave the connection to an electrician.
    Experienced installer.
Use a flexible rubber 5-core cable (e.g. H07RN-F) sized to the line; check phase sequence at the CEE outlets and PE continuity.
    Power engineer / designer.
The box is an end point without internal protection: overload and short-circuit protection (not above 32 A) and a 30 mA RCD are designed into the supply board. The 230 V outlets require 16 A protection – if the line is protected by a 32 A breaker, choose a model with built-in MCBs. For sites – HD 60364-7-704.

    Practical use

In a production hall the box is fixed next to a machine: a three-phase machine plugs into the CEE 32 A outlet and the 0–1 switch turns the outlets off locally. The electrician designs the line breaker, 30 mA RCD and 16 A protection for the 230 V outlets.

    Pros / advantages

    • Three-phase and domestic outlets in one enclosure
    • 32 A outlet for heavier equipment
    • 0–1 switch to turn outlets off locally
    • IP44 enclosure
    • Sealed cable entry

    Cons / limitations

    • No MCBs or RCD – protection must be in the supply board
    • The 0–1 switch is not a protective device – it does not replace an MCB or RCD
    • The 230 V outlets have no separate protection – behind a 32 A breaker they require 16 A protection; if that cannot be provided, choose a model with built-in MCBs
    • IP44 – not for continuous rain or water jets; outdoors it needs cover

    Safety and installation notes

    • ⚡ Connection and testing must be done by a qualified electrician, with the supply switched off.
    • ⚡ There are no MCBs or RCD in the box: protect the supply line with an MCB sized to the cable, not above 32 A, and a 30 mA RCD. The total load of all outlets must not exceed the line breaker.
    • The 230 V outlets have no 16 A protection: if the line is protected by a 32 A breaker, they require separate 16 A protection. If that cannot be installed, feed the line through an MCB not above 16 A (the CEE 32 A outlet load is then also limited to 16 A).
    • If the supply line is single-phase, the CEE 400 V outlet must not be used – it will not have 400 V; feed the box from a three-phase 5-core line.
    • The PE contacts of the 230 V outlets must be connected – check PE continuity to every outlet and phase sequence at the CEE outlet.
    • On construction sites feed the box only from a site distribution board (HD 60364-7-704).
    • IP44 applies only with the outlet lids closed and the cable entry tightened.
    • The 0–1 switch is not an isolator for work inside the box – switch off the supply at the board before opening the enclosure.

    Quick selection guide

    1×CEE 32 A 5P 400 V
    2×230 V 16 A
    IP44
    0–1 switch, no MCBs
    Suitable when you need:
    • 400 V and 230 V outlets from one cable
    • Switching outlets off locally
    • Work indoors or under cover
    Check before choosing:
    • Is there a ≤32 A MCB and a 30 mA RCD in the supply board
    • Is the cable 5-core and does it fit the cable entry
    • Confirm the domestic outlet type (Schuko or French with earth pin) when ordering
    • How 16 A protection for the 230 V outlets will be provided
Important reminder: The box does not replace a protective board: it has no MCBs or RCD, and the 0–1 switch is not a protective device. All protection must be in the supply board.

    FAQ

Does the box contain MCBs or an RCD?
No. The manufacturer lists it as an unprotected version, so an MCB (not above 32 A) and a 30 mA RCD must be in the supply board. The 230 V outlets require 16 A protection.
Which supply cable should I use?
    A 5-core (L1, L2, L3, N, PE) flexible rubber cable, e.g. H07RN-F; the electrician selects the cross-section by protection and length.
Can it be fed from a single-phase line?
No. The 230 V outlets would work, but there would be no 400 V at the CEE 5P outlet. The box is intended for three-phase supply.
What does the 0–1 switch do?
It turns the outlet supply on and off. It is not a protective device and does not replace an MCB or RCD.
What type are the 230 V outlets?
The manufacturer data only states 230 V 16 A. Confirm the type (Schuko or French with earth pin) when ordering.
Can it be used outdoors or on a construction site?
The IP44 enclosure is splash-proof, but it needs cover from rain. On sites – only when fed from a site board with an RCD (HD 60364-7-704).
