  • Relay socket | Finder 55.32 / 55.34 | 10 A | 250 V | DIN 35 mm | Finder 94.04SPA

Finder 94.04SPA is a socket for Finder 55.32 / 55.34 relays. The relay plugs into the socket and the wires connect to the socket screw terminals, so the relay can be replaced without disturbing the wiring.

    Key point:
A plug-in relay cannot be connected without a socket. A socket with screw terminals lets you mount the relay on a DIN rail and replace a faulty relay in seconds without disconnecting wires.

    Operating principle

The socket snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail. Coil (A1–A2) and contact wires connect to the screw terminals according to the diagram marked on the socket.

The relay is plugged in and secured with the clip so it does not fall out due to vibration.

When needed, the relay can be pulled out and replaced without disconnecting a single wire.

    Why choose Finder 94.04SPA?
Finder 94.04SPA – a socket for 55.32 / 55.34 relays and 85 series timers, supplied with the 094.91.3 plastic clip. Terminals accept up to 6 mm² solid wire.

    Main functions

    • Screw terminals – reliable wire connection in the panel.
    • DIN rail – mounting next to other modular devices.
    • Fast relay replacement – wires stay connected.
    • Marked terminals – clear coil and contact numbering.
    • Retaining clip – the relay does not fall out due to vibration.

    Where is it used?

    • Automation and control panels
    • PLC input/output interfaces
    • Industrial machinery control cabinets
    • Building automation panels
    • HVAC control panels
    • Repair and replacement of faulty relays

    Use by need

    Panel builder.
Neat relay mounting on DIN rail with clear terminal numbering.
    Maintenance technician.
Replace the relay without disconnecting wires – shorter downtime.
    Automation integrator.
A standard socket that fits the whole relay series.

    Practical application

If an interface relay fails in the panel, it is simply pulled out of the socket and a new one plugged in – the wires stay on the socket terminals, the circuit does not change and downtime is a few minutes.

    Pros

    • DIN rail mounting
    • Relay replacement without disconnecting wires
    • Clearly marked terminals
    • 094.91.3 clip included
    • 99.02 modules and 86.30 timer modules

    Cons / limitations

    • With an 85.04 timer the circuit is limited to 7 A
    • Fits only the specified relay series
    • Socket current is also limited by the relay ratings – the lower value applies

    Safety and installation notes

    • Install and replace relays only with the supply disconnected.
    • Tighten wires to the recommended torque; do not exceed the terminal cross-section.
    • Use only compatible relays and retaining clips.
    • Protect the socket circuit with a circuit breaker or fuse.

    Suitable when you need:
    • to mount a plug-in relay on DIN rail
    • to replace relays without disconnecting wires
    • to assemble an automation panel neatly
    Check before use:
    • that the relay series fits this socket
    • wire cross-section and terminal type
    • space in the panel (width, height under the cover)
Important reminder: a socket is not a protective device – the circuit must be protected by a circuit breaker or fuse.
