ADAX VPS1004 KBT – a compact 400 W electric convection radiator with an electronic / Bluetooth programmable thermostat. The VPS10 series is designed for rooms where increased requirements apply to electric heating equipment – bathrooms, laundry rooms and other more humid spaces.

The radiator has an IP24 protection rating, double insulation, and the maximum temperature of touchable surfaces does not exceed 60 °C. Due to the reduced surface temperature, the model is also practical for children's rooms and other spaces where limiting the radiator surface temperature is important.

ADAX VPS1004 KBT stands out with its 400 W power, compact 325 × 388 × 95 mm dimensions, IP24 protection and touchable surface temperature limited to 60 °C. The electronic thermostat can operate independently, while Bluetooth allows heating schedules and additional functions to be programmed.

Default setting: when switched on, the radiator is set to 22 °C. The user can select a temperature from 5 to 35 °C using the control knob.

Touchable surfaces of VPS10 series radiators do not heat above 60 °C. This is an important difference from conventional electric radiators and a practical solution for bathrooms, laundry rooms, children's rooms or other spaces where a lower radiator surface temperature is preferred.

The main function of the ADAX app for this radiator is management of operating schedules.

The radiator temperature cannot be controlled directly in the app. Temperature is set with the radiator control knob. To synchronize schedules and functions, the mobile device must be within Bluetooth range.

1. Download the ADAX WiFi app from the Apple or Google app store.
2. In the app, select “+Add device”.
3. Press “Next”.
4. Select “Eco BT Bluetooth only heater”.
5. Turn the temperature control knob between the minimum and maximum positions until the indicator starts flashing.
6. A flashing indicator means the radiator is ready to connect.
7. Once the radiator is detected, continue according to the instructions in the app.

• Standby mode – indicators are off until the ambient temperature drops.
• Heating – the indicator lights while the radiator is actively heating.
• Ready to connect – a flashing indicator shows pairing mode.
• Child protection – the indication shows that the lock is active.
• Factory reset – the corresponding indication shows the reset process.

In the event of a power failure, the radiator maintains operation of its internal clock for up to 24 hours. If the power interruption lasts longer than 24 hours, the thermostat returns to the last used temperature.

Adaptive start is used through the app. The radiator determines when heating should begin so that the desired temperature is reached at the time selected by the user. For example, if the room should be 22 °C at 9:00, the radiator may start heating earlier.

The open-window function detects a rapid temperature change over a short period. When an open window is detected, normal heating is switched off automatically and the radiator enters 7 °C frost-protection mode. After the window is closed and the temperature starts rising again, the previous mode is restored.

Thermostat controls can be protected against unauthorized use by children or other persons. The function is enabled or disabled in the ADAX app.

To restore factory settings, turn the temperature control knob between the minimum and maximum positions until the factory reset indicator starts flashing.

1. Mount the radiator on the wall using the bracket supplied.
2. Leave at least 120 mm above the radiator.
3. Leave at least 50 mm below the radiator.
4. The thermostat and power cable are located on the right-hand side of the radiator.
5. IP24 allows use in more humid rooms, but applicable electrical safety zones and installation requirements must be observed.
6. In humid rooms, the radiator must be installed by a qualified / certified electrician.
