ADAX VP12 H10 KBT White is a 1000 W electric convection radiator with an electronic / Bluetooth programmable thermostat. The compact VP12 H.. KBT series is designed for residential, commercial and other premises where simple operation, accurate temperature control and programmable heating schedules are important.

The radiator can be used without the mobile app – in this case it operates as a conventional electronic thermostat and maintains the temperature set with the control knob within the 5–35 °C range. The app and Bluetooth connection are used for schedules and additional functions.

Operating principle

The radiator heats by natural convection. Cooler air enters the lower part of the radiator, is heated and rises upwards. No fan is required for air movement, so the radiator operates quietly.

The electronic thermostat switches heating on and off according to the temperature selected with the control knob. If the radiator is not heating, it enters standby and the heating indicator is not illuminated.

Default temperature: 22 °C. Manual adjustment range: 5–35 °C.

Bluetooth programming

Bluetooth is used to pair the radiator with a mobile device and synchronize programmable functions. Without the app, the radiator remains fully functional and maintains the manually selected temperature.

Important: according to the supplied VP12 KBT operating instructions, the radiator temperature cannot be changed directly in the app. The main purpose of the app is to manage operating schedules and additional functions.

Connecting to the app

Download the ADAX WiFi app.
Select “+Add device”.
Select “Next”.
Select “Eco BT Bluetooth only heater”.
Turn the control knob between the minimum and maximum positions until the indicator starts flashing.
The flashing indication means the radiator is ready for pairing.
Complete the pairing process according to the instructions in the app.

LED indicators

Standby – indicators are off.
Heating – the indicator shows active heating.
Ready to connect to the app – flashing indication.
Child protection – corresponding indication.
Factory reset – corresponding indication.

24-hour protection during a power failure

The radiator maintains operation of the internal clock for up to 24 hours. If the power interruption lasts longer than 24 hours, the thermostat returns to the last used temperature.

Adaptive start

Used via the app. The radiator calculates when heating needs to start so that the desired room temperature is reached at the scheduled time.

Open window detection

When a sudden temperature drop is detected, the radiator can stop normal heating and switch to frost protection mode, maintaining 7 °C. After the window is closed and the temperature starts rising again, the previous program or constant-temperature mode is restored.

Child protection

Protection against unauthorized thermostat operation by children or other persons is enabled or disabled in the app.

Factory reset

To restore the settings, turn the temperature knob between the minimum and maximum positions until the reset indicator starts flashing.
