ADAX VP12 H05 KBT White is a compact 500 W electric convector radiator with an electronic / Bluetooth programmable thermostat. The VP12 H.. KBT series is designed for locations where compact radiator dimensions, simple operation and precise temperature maintenance are important.

The radiator can operate completely independently as a conventional electronically controlled heater – the desired temperature is set using the control knob within a 5–35 °C range. When connected to the ADAX WiFi app via Bluetooth, schedules and additional functions such as adaptive start, open-window detection and protection against unauthorised operation can be used.

ADAX VP12 H05 KBT White is intended for users who need simple manual temperature control combined with programmable Bluetooth functionality. Without the app, the radiator maintains the temperature selected with the control knob, while connecting to the app allows operating schedules and additional functions to be programmed.

According to the operating instructions for this thermostat, the main function of the app is to manage the radiator operating schedules.

The radiator temperature cannot be changed directly in the app. To synchronise schedules and functions, you must be within Bluetooth range.

1. Download the ADAX WiFi app from the Apple or Google app store.
2. In the app, select “+Add device”.
3. Press “Next”.
4. Select device type “Eco BT Bluetooth only heater”.
5. Turn the radiator control knob between the minimum and maximum positions until the indicator starts flashing.
6. A flashing indicator means that the radiator is ready for pairing.
7. Once the radiator is detected, continue according to the instructions in the app.

• Standby – the indicators remain off until the room temperature drops.
• Heating – the indicator lights when the radiator is actively heating.
• Ready to connect – a flashing indicator shows pairing mode.
• Child protection – a separate indication shows that the lock is active.
• Factory reset – the indication shows the RESET procedure.

If the power supply is interrupted, the radiator maintains the internal clock operation for up to 24 hours. If the power outage lasts longer than 24 hours, the thermostat returns to the last used temperature.

Adaptive start is used through the app. The function calculates when the radiator must start heating so that the desired room temperature is already reached at the selected time. For example, if 22 °C is required at 9:00, the radiator may start heating earlier.

This function is used through the app. The radiator detects a rapid drop in room temperature typical of an open window. When such a change is detected, heating is switched off and frost-protection mode maintaining 7 °C is activated. Once the window is closed and the room temperature starts rising again, the radiator automatically returns to the previous programme or constant-temperature mode.

The thermostat can be protected against unauthorised operation by children or other persons. This function is enabled or disabled in the ADAX WiFi app.

To restore factory settings, turn the temperature control knob between the minimum and maximum positions until the corresponding indicator starts flashing.

1. The radiator is wall-mounted using the removable brackets included in the package.
2. Leave at least 250 mm above the radiator.
3. Leave at least 50 mm below the radiator.
4. The thermostat and power cable are located on the right-hand side of the radiator.
5. The radiator can be floor-mounted using separately purchased feet.
6. IP24 allows use in more humid rooms, but the installation location must comply with applicable electrical safety requirements.
