    SONOFF TH16 is a single-channel Wi-Fi relay with a temperature and humidity sensor input. An external sensor is connected through a 2.5 mm jack, and the relay automatically switches a heater, fan or humidifier on or off according to set limits.

    Key idea:
    A simple thermostat and humidistat with remote control: the load is controlled by temperature or humidity, and the data is visible in the app. This is a previous-generation model – THR series controllers are recommended for new projects.

    How it works

    TH16 is wired inline between the supply and the load: phase and neutral at the input, the controlled appliance at the output.

    A sensor such as SI7021 (temperature and humidity) or a waterproof temperature probe is plugged into the 2.5 mm jack. The relay measures the values and sends them to eWeLink.

    In automatic mode, limits are set: e.g. the heater switches on when the temperature drops below 5 °C and off when it reaches 8 °C.
