SONOFF SNZB-03 is a wireless Zigbee 3.0 PIR motion sensor that detects motion up to 6 m away within 110°. It works with a Zigbee hub and lets you automate lighting, receive notifications and create security scenes.

Key idea:
The Zigbee sensor reports its status to the hub two-way, uses little energy and works in the same network as ZBMINI relays or smart plugs. A Zigbee hub is required.

How it works

The PIR sensor detects a change in thermal radiation in the detection zone and reports the motion to the hub over the Zigbee 3.0 network.

The hub (ZBBridge-P, NSPanel Pro, iHost or a Zigbee adapter with Home Assistant) passes the event to eWeLink or another system where scenes and notifications are created.

When motion stops, the sensor reports the status change – this allows the light to switch off automatically after a set time.
