Black single-key surface-mounted two-way switch – retro style, 10AX, 250 V, IP20

Single-key surface-mounted switch with two-way switching function is intended for surface-mounted electrical installations. It can be used as a lighting control element, while the two-way switching function allows a circuit to be configured so that the same lighting circuit can be controlled from two different locations.

The classic round shape, black colour and surface-mounted installation method are suitable for retro, loft and vintage-style interiors. The switch can be used in restored country homes, historically styled spaces, wooden houses, modern lofts and other areas where the electrical installation is a visible part of the interior.

The housing is made of heat-resistant thermoplastic. Switch dimensions – 62 mm diameter and 47 mm height. Electrical rating – 10AX, 250 V AC, protection rating – IP20.

1. Determine the control circuit. If the lighting will be controlled from two locations, provide two mutually compatible two-way switches.
2. Disconnect the power supply. Before starting work, check that the circuit is de-energised.
3. Select the installation location. The switch should be installed in a dry and easily accessible location.
4. If a frame is used, check compatibility. The switch must fit the selected surface-mounted frame precisely.
5. Plan the cable entry direction.
6. Check the terminal markings. Determine the functions of the common and switched contacts according to the specific product.
7. Connect the conductors. Follow the designed electrical circuit and the switch contact markings.
8. Secure the switch. Do not overtighten the plastic housing fasteners.
9. Install the frame, if used.
10. Restore power and check operation. If a two-location circuit is used, check lighting control from both locations.
