An overhead line pole must stay stable throughout its service life, despite conductor tension, wind and icing. This group contains the parts that take up these forces and protect the line.

What each part does

Part	Purpose
Guy wire (A20-1,1, A20-2,7)	Compensates the one-sided conductor tension – at angle, terminal and branch poles
Guy wire thimble with fixing plate, Ø12–24 mm	Attaches the guy wire rope to the pole; size is selected by rope diameter
Guy wire anchor plate A-20P	Anchors the guy wire in the ground
Anchor log and RT-1 / RT-2 clamps	Stabilises the pole in the ground so it does not lean
Strut bracket PTM	Connects the strut (brace) to the pole
Stork nest platform GL-2	Platform for a stork nest above the conductors – protects birds and the line from short circuits

⚠ Part size and quantity are selected according to the design: pole type, conductor cross-section, tension and ground conditions. Thimbles are hot-dip galvanised – corrosion-resistant outdoors.

⚡ Work on overhead lines may only be carried out by authorised persons, following safety rules, with the line disconnected and earthed.
