Extended push button | 22 mm | 1NO | blue | plastic | non-illuminated | IP40 | non-latching | Promfactor Baltic | FP PCPB blue Pl
FP PCPB blue Pl is a blue extended plastic push button switch from the Promfactor Baltic FP series, with 1NO contact. It is mounted in a Ø 22 mm hole in a panel door, control desk or push button enclosure; front protection degree IP40.
Key idea:
According to EN 60204-1, blue is intended for a mandatory action, most often RESET. The NO contact closes the circuit only when pressed, so the button sends a start or control command.Contact

blueHow it works
The button is inserted into a Ø 22 mm hole and tightened from the rear with a nut. The contact block is connected with screw terminals, tightening torque 0.8 Nm.
At rest the NO contact is open; when pressed it closes the circuit, and when released the button returns to its initial position (non-latching). For starting it is connected in parallel with the contactor auxiliary contact 13–14 so that the motor keeps running after the button is released.
The button controls only the control circuit: a contactor coil, a relay or a controller input. Motor current is switched by a contactor, not by the button.
Why choose FP PCPB blue Pl? The extended actuator is easy to press even with gloves, and the plastic housing is a light and economical solution for dry panels.Technical specifications

Use by need
For the installing electrician. A standard 22 mm hole, screw terminals and clear contact marking allow quick installation and replacement of an old button. For automation panel builders. Buttons, lamps and START–STOP units from one series allow a panel with a uniform look. For equipment maintenance. A frequently replaced component worth keeping in stock by colour and contact.Practical use
On a pumping station panel door the button sends a command to the contactor, and the contactor self-holding keeps it running after the button is released.Pros- Extended actuator – easy to press
- Plastic ring – light and economical
- Standard Ø 22 mm hole
- Ui 660 V, AC-15 / DC-13
Cons- IP40 – not suitable outdoors or in washdown areas without an extra cover
- No illumination – a lamp is needed to show the status
- Not intended for switching motor current directly
Safety and installation notes
- Installation and connection must be performed by a qualified electrician after disconnecting the voltage and verifying that there is none.
- Protect the control circuit with a separate circuit breaker or fuse according to the wire cross-section.
- Use an NC contact for the STOP function and a spring-return NO with contactor self-holding for START.
