  • Wireless crane remote control | 6 buttons + START/STOP, 2×4 keypad | 1 speed | 24–440 V AC/DC | IP65 | F21-E1B-TX

    Code: F21-E1B-TX

Single-speed wireless crane remote with a wider 70 mm transmitter: 8 buttons in 2×4 – 6 direction, START and STOP. The 24–440 V AC/DC IP65 receiver drives contactor coils on 3-axis cranes.

  • Wireless crane remote F21-E1B-TX – 8 buttons in 2×4, 24–440 V AC/DC receiver, IP65

F21-E1B-TX is a single-speed radio remote for a crane or hoist with three motion axes. The transmitter sends the command to the receiver, whose relays energise the contactor coils – just as the pendant buttons did before.

    Key point:
The wider 70 mm transmitter holds 8 buttons in two columns of 4: opposite directions sit side by side, so hoist, bridge and trolley are easy to operate without searching. The receiver is IP65 and 24–440 V AC/DC – mounted directly on the crane.

    Receiver
    24–440 V AC/DC

    How it works

The IP65 receiver (210×80 mm) is mounted on the crane and supplied with the same voltage as the contactor coils (24–440 V AC/DC). The 6 direction relays go into the coil circuits, the MAIN relay into the main contactor KM0 circuit.

START energises the MAIN relay, STOP drops it out. A direction relay is held only while its button is pressed. On loss of radio link the receiver must drop the MAIN relay and the crane stops.

The operator controls the crane from a safe distance, sees the load from the side and does not walk around with a cable. The clear 2×4 layout reduces wrong presses.

    Why choose F21-E1B-TX?
The same 3-axis single-speed control as ES-F21-E1-TX, but with a wider transmitter and a 2×4 keypad. Choose it if the operator prefers two rows of buttons.

    Main functions

    • 8 buttons in 2×4 – opposite-direction buttons in one row
    • 6-direction control – hoist, bridge, trolley
    • START / STOP – switching the main contactor on and off
    • 24–440 V AC/DC receiver – suits various control voltages
    • IP65 receiver – mounted on the crane without an extra enclosure
    • −110 dBm sensitivity – stable link up to ~100 m in open space

How does it differ from similar models?

    • ES-F21-E1-TX – Same functions and receiver supply, but a narrow 45 mm transmitter with a mushroom STOP; IP65 is stated for the transmitter.
    • ES-F23-BB – 10 buttons + START/STOP – extra buttons 1–4, larger receiver.
    • ES-F21-E1B(H) – Compact single-speed remote in the EU SRD 868 MHz band.

    Where is it used?

    • Overhead cranes in production halls
    • Hoists with an electric trolley
    • Repair workshops and service centres
    • Warehouses and loading areas
    • Replacing the pendant on older cranes
    • Outdoor cranes (IP65 receiver)

    Use by need

    For the electrician
Simple wiring – relays instead of pendant buttons, receiver supply from the coil circuit, IP65 receiver without an extra enclosure.
    For a manufacturing plant
The operator works at a safe distance from the load, with no pendant cable to tear and no related downtime.
For a construction site / warehouse
Up to ~100 m in open space – enough for a larger yard or a warehouse canopy.

    Practical use

If a hoist pendant is being replaced in a workshop and the control circuit is 48 V AC, supply the receiver with 48 V AC, wire the 6 direction relays in place of the pendant buttons and the MAIN relay into the KM0 coil circuit. At commissioning, check that switching the transmitter off stops the movement.

    Pros

    • Clear 2×4 button layout
    • Full 3-axis control
    • Universal 24–440 V AC/DC receiver
    • IP65 receiver
    • −110 dBm sensitivity

    Cons / limitations

    • Single speed only – for 2-speed control choose ES-F23-6D with a 2-speed motor or a frequency inverter.
    • The STOP button type is not specified – if a mushroom STOP is required, choose ES-F21-E1-TX.
    • Radio frequency and relay current are not stated – confirm before ordering.

    Safety and installation notes

    • The receiver relays switch the contactor coils, not the motor directly – relay contacts are for the control circuit only.
    • The receiver supply voltage must match the control circuit (coil) voltage; range 24–440 V AC/DC.
    • Wire the STOP / MAIN relay so that it drops out the main contactor KM0. Loss of radio link must stop the crane (EN 60204-32) – test this during commissioning.
    • Limit switches (SQ) and the NC interlock between opposite directions stay in the circuit – the radio remote does not replace them.
    • For crane repairs, apply LOTO on the main isolator. The STOP button is not isolation from the supply.

    Quick selection guide

    8 buttons 2×4
    1 speed
    24–440 V AC/DC
    IP65 receiver

    Check before ordering:

    • Contactor coil voltage is within 24–440 V AC/DC and equals the receiver supply.
    • Radio frequency of the set (EU SRD bands – 433 / 868 MHz) – check that the frequency is permitted in your country.
    • Whether a mushroom STOP is required (then ES-F21-E1-TX) and whether 1 speed is enough.

    FAQ

Can the receiver be connected directly to the motor?
No. The receiver relays drive the contactor coils and the contactors switch the motor – exactly as with a pendant control.
What happens if the radio link is lost?
The receiver must drop the MAIN relay and the main contactor so the crane stops (EN 60204-32). Test it at commissioning by switching the transmitter off during a movement.
Which control voltage can be used?
    The receiver is supplied with 24–440 V AC/DC, so it suits 24 V, 48 V, 110 V, 230 V or 400 V control circuits. Receiver supply must equal the coil voltage.
How does F21-E1B-TX differ from ES-F21-E1-TX?
Functions and receiver supply are the same. The transmitter differs: here it is 70 mm wide with 2×4 buttons, ES-F21-E1-TX is a narrow 45 mm unit with a mushroom STOP.
Does the receiver need an enclosure?
The receiver is IP65, so it is mounted directly on the crane. Seal the cable entries to keep IP65.
Is it suitable for a 2-speed hoist?
    No – the buttons are single-speed. A second speed needs a 2-speed remote, e.g. ES-F23-6D.

    F21-E1B-TX – 3-axis remote with 2×4 keypad

Single-speed wireless remote: 6 direction buttons, START and STOP in a 2×4 layout, IP65 receiver 24–440 V AC/DC. For replacing a pendant without changing the contactor circuit.
