    ESY5-175T is a compact pendant control station for hoists and small cranes. Five momentary buttons control the contactor coils: press and the motion runs, release and it stops.

    Key point:
    Five buttons are enough for a hoist with an electric trolley (up, down, left, right) plus one extra function, such as a horn or mode selection. The IP65 housing suits areas with a lot of fine dust: cement, woodworking, grain handling or metalworking environments.

    How it works

    The pendant is connected by a control cable to the contactor circuit of the hoist or crane. The cable enters through a PG13.5 cable gland at the rear of the housing.

    Each button is momentary: when pressed it closes the contact and energises the corresponding contactor; when released a spring returns the button and the motion stops.

    The operator controls lifting and travel with one hand, while the housing protects the contacts from dust and water jets.

    Safety and installation notes

    • Suspend the pendant from a steel strain-relief wire, not from the cable
    • Lock out the main isolator with a LOTO lockout before any repair
