Industrial socket box | 1×16 A 5P 400 V + 2×Schuko 230 V | with holder | IP54 | SEZ ROSP 1631 D/S
SEZ ROSP 1631 D/S is a compact combined socket box with one CEE 16 A 5P 400 V and two Schuko 230 V outlets. The D version has a holder, so the box works as part of a mobile distribution: it is fed by cable from a board and carried to where the work is. Enclosure protection: IP54.
Key point:
One box gives you a three-phase outlet for heavier equipment and two domestic outlets for hand tools, lighting or chargers. There are no MCBs or RCD inside, which keeps it simple and affordable, but all protection must be in the supply board. IP54 is enough for workshops, garages and sheltered outdoor work.Outlets

Supply: a 5-core cable (L1, L2, L3, N, PE) enters through the TVM 16 cable gland and is connected inside the box. A cable with plug is not listed in the manufacturer data – the installer selects it.
Outlets: the CEE 16 A 5P outlet receives all three phases (400 V), the two Schuko outlets receive phase and N (230 V). All outlets are rated 16 A.
Protection: the box is unprotected (no MCBs or RCD). A 16 A MCB and a 30 mA RCD are installed in the supply board; IP54 applies only with the outlet lids closed.
Why choose SEZ ROSP 1631 D/S?
It is a simple way to get both 400 V and 230 V outlets from one three-phase cable without a separate board. The small enclosure (about 190 × 148 mm) and the holder keep it next to the workplace, and the uniform 16 A rating of all outlets makes protection easy to select.Technical specifications

How does it differ from similar products?
SEZ ROSPG 1631 D (IP67, with holder) Same outlets, but IP67 enclosure – for wet, dirty locations and outdoor work. SEZ ROSP1631 (IP54, no holder) Same outlet set in an IP54 enclosure without holder – for fixed mounting. Scame 686D.122 Another maker's 16 A 5P + 230 V box, IP54 – similar purpose, different enclosure. SEZ ROS4/V-12 Has a 0–1 switch to switch off the outlets – when local isolation is needed. Where is it used?
- Garages and car service workshops
- Workshops and production areas
- Farm buildings
- Temporary power for repair work and events
- Construction work – fed from a site distribution board
- Sheltered outdoor work
Use by need
Beginner.
The box comes fully fitted – it only needs a suitable cable and connection to a protected board. Leave the connection to an electrician.Experienced installer.
Use a flexible rubber 5×2.5 mm² cable (e.g. H07RN-F), check phase sequence at the CEE outlet and PE continuity.Power engineer / designer.
The box is unprotected, so ≤16 A line protection and a 30 mA RCD are designed into the supply board. For sites – per HD 60364-7-704.Practical use
In a car service the box is kept next to the repair bay: a three-phase compressor plugs into the CEE outlet, a lamp and grinder into the Schuko outlets. It is fed from the board via a 16 A MCB and a 30 mA RCD.Pros / advantages
- Three-phase and domestic outlets in one enclosure
- All outlets 16 A – easy to select protection
- Holder for portable use
- IP54 and IK10 enclosure
- Compact – about 190 × 148 mm
Cons / limitations
- No MCBs or RCD – protection must be in the supply board
- No isolator – for local switching choose SEZ ROS4/V-12
- Only one CEE outlet – for more three-phase loads: SEZ ROS1603 (3×16 A + 2×230 V)
- IP54 – not for immersion or water jets; for such conditions choose SEZ ROSPG 1631 D (IP67)
Safety and installation notes
- ⚡ Connection and testing must be done by a qualified electrician.
- ⚡ There are no MCBs or RCD in the box: protect the supply line with an MCB sized to the cable but not above 16 A (this also protects the Schuko outlets), and a 30 mA RCD.
- If the supply line is single-phase, the CEE 400 V outlet must not be used – it will not have 400 V and is unsuitable for three-phase equipment.
- On construction sites connect only from a site distribution board (HD 60364-7-704).
- IP54 applies only with the outlet lids closed and the TVM 16 gland tightened.
- For mobile use choose a flexible rubber cable (e.g. H07RN-F) and check that its diameter fits the gland.
- Before first use check PE continuity and phase sequence at the CEE outlet.
Quick selection guide
1×CEE 16 A 5P 400 V2×Schuko 16 A 230 VIP54 / IK10No MCBs or RCDSuitable when you need:- 400 V and 230 V outlets from one cable
- To move the box between workplaces
- To work indoors or under shelter
Check before choosing:- Is there a ≤16 A MCB and a 30 mA RCD in the supply board
- Is the cable 5-core and does it fit the TVM 16 gland
- Are the load plugs CEE 16 A 5P and Schuko
- Is one three-phase outlet enough
Important reminder: The box does not replace a protective board: it has no MCBs, RCD or isolator. All protection must be in the supply board.☝ Elsprendimai.eu recommends:- Combined socket box selection guide – socket types, IP ratings, cable and protection sizing, “wrong / right” diagram.
- Modular equipment – MCBs and 30 mA RCDs for the supply line.
- Industrial plugs and sockets – CEE plugs for connecting equipment.
- Copper cables – with the right cross-section for the supply line.
FAQ
Does the box contain MCBs or an RCD?
No. The manufacturer lists it as an unprotected version, so a 16 A MCB and a 30 mA RCD must be in the supply board.Which supply cable should I use?
A 5-core cable (L1, L2, L3, N, PE); for 16 A usually flexible rubber 5×2.5 mm², e.g. H07RN-F. Check that its diameter fits the TVM 16 gland.Can it be fed from a single-phase line?
The Schuko outlets will work, but there will be no 400 V at the CEE 5P outlet. The box is intended for three-phase supply. What is the difference between ROSP and ROSPG?
The outlets are the same; the enclosure protection differs: ROSP – IP54, ROSPG – IP67.What does the letter D mean?
The D version has a holder – the manufacturer intends it for mobile distribution. What does /S mean?
In SEZ designations the letter S marks Schuko-type 230 V outlets.Sources: SEZ DK a.s. product page (https://www.sez.sk/produkty/rosp-1631-d/); catalogue K1.1 "Zásuvkové rozvodnice a bubny" (2017). Checked 2026-10-20.
