SONOFF BASIC R4 is a single-channel Wi-Fi relay wired inline between the supply and a light or appliance. It switches loads up to 10 A and lets you control them by phone, voice, schedule or scenes.

Key idea:
The classic SONOFF solution for making a single appliance smart: the relay is wired into its supply cable, and control is via the eWeLink app without a hub.

How it works

The relay is wired between the supply and the load: phase and neutral at the input, the controlled appliance at the output.

Once connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, the relay is controlled with the eWeLink app, Alexa or Google Assistant voice and timers.

BASIC R4 also acts as an eWeLink-Remote gateway – wireless R5 or S-MATE remotes can be connected to it.
