When assistance is required, the user pulls the red 1.5 m cord or presses the SOS button. The wireless signal is transmitted to the receiver, which activates the audible and visual alarm.
The receiver with the red cover flashes and emits the selected audible signal so that a nurse, caregiver or another responsible person notices the call. Once assistance has been provided, the call can be cancelled by pressing the “CANCEL” button.
Why is this SOS system useful?No wired connection between the button and receiver is required to transmit the assistance signal. The pull cord is convenient in situations where the user finds it difficult to precisely reach a small button, while the audible and visual alarm helps attract the attention of the supervising person.
