  • Wireless crane remote control | 12 buttons incl. STOP and START | 2 speeds | 230 V AC | IP65 | ES-F21-E2B-8

    Code: ES-F21-E2B-8

Multi-button 2-speed wireless remote for a crane with several motions. Speed is selected by separate buttons 1 and 2; 230 V AC receiver with 1.3 m cable, IP65 transmitter, 32-bit security code.

  • Wireless crane remote control ES-F21-E2B-8 – 12 buttons, 2 speeds, 230 V AC receiver

ES-F21-E2B-8 is a radio remote for a crane or hoist when you need more than two directions and two speeds. A command from the transmitter is sent by radio to the receiver, and the receiver relays switch the direction and speed contactor coils.

    Key point:
Speed is selected not by pressing harder but by separate buttons 1 and 2, so the operator knows exactly which speed the crane will run at. The receiver is powered from 230 V AC and comes with a 1.3 m cable – convenient for standard 230 V AC control circuits.
    Buttons
    12 (incl. STOP and START)
    Speeds
    2 (buttons 1 and 2)
    Receiver
    230 V AC
    Range
    Up to 100 m

    How it works

The receiver is fixed on the crane and connected by its 1.3 m cable into the 230 V AC control circuit: direction relays to the direction contactor coils, the speed output to the fast-speed contactor or inverter input, the MAIN relay to the main contactor KM0.

START switches the system on, buttons 1 or 2 select the speed, direction buttons start the motion. STOP or loss of radio link drops the MAIN relay and the crane stops. Buttons 3 and 4 are not used in this version.

The operator controls several crane motions at two speeds from one remote, and the LED shows the remote status.

    Why choose ES-F21-E2B-8?
A solution when a single-motion remote is no longer enough and the control circuit is already 230 V AC. The 32-bit security code reduces the risk of a neighbouring crane's remote operating yours.

    Main functions

    • Speed buttons 1 and 2 – a clearly selected slow or fast mode
    • Several direction buttons – several crane motions from one remote
    • STOP – drops the main contactor via the MAIN relay
    • START – the system does not start just by pressing a direction button
    • 32-bit security code – the transmitter is paired only with its own receiver
    • LED indicator – shows remote status and transmission

How does it differ from similar models?

    • ES-F21-E1-TX – 6 buttons + START/STOP, but 1 speed and a 24–440 V AC/DC receiver.
    • ES-24-8D – 8 two-step buttons – speed changes with the press step, receiver relays 10 A, 250 V AC.
    • LCC-202 – Only 2 two-step buttons (up / down), also with a 230 V AC receiver.
    • ES-21-4D – Compact remote with 4 two-step buttons for two motions.

    Where is it used?

    • Overhead and gantry cranes with several motions
    • 2-speed hoists with a powered trolley
    • Cranes with frequency inverters
    • Production and assembly halls
    • Replacing a multi-button pendant in a 230 V AC circuit

    Use by need

    For electricians
230 V AC receiver with a pre-fitted 1.3 m cable – easy to connect to an existing panel or box.
    For manufacturing companies
Several motions and 2 speeds from one remote – the operator does not switch to another control.
    For construction sites / warehouses
Control up to 100 m in open space – the operator chooses a safe spot and sees the load.

    Practical use

If a crane hoists, travels with the trolley and the bridge, and the motors are driven by frequency inverters, then on ES-F21-E2B-8 buttons 1 and 2 switch the inverter speed input while the direction buttons control the motions.

    Pros

    • 2 speeds selected by separate buttons
    • 12 buttons for several motions
    • 230 V AC receiver with 1.3 m cable
    • 32-bit security code
    • IP65 transmitter, −40…+85 °C

    Cons / limitations

    • Receiver is 230 V AC only – for other voltages choose ES-F21-E1-TX (24–440 V AC/DC, 1 speed)
    • Buttons 3 and 4 are not used – do not plan extra functions (horn, lighting) on them
    • VHF 310–331 MHz version is not a standard EU SRD band – in Europe choose the UHF version
    • Receiver relay current is not specified – the receiver is for contactor coils only

    Safety and installation notes

    • Receiver relays switch only contactor coils or inverter inputs, never motors directly.
    • Receiver supply is 230 V AC – contactor coils must be 230 V AC.
    • Wire the MAIN relay into the main contactor KM0 circuit – STOP and loss of signal must stop the crane (EN 60204-32).
    • Limit switches (SQ) and NC interlocking of opposite directions stay in the circuit.
    • 2 speeds require a 2-speed motor or frequency inverter; the fast-speed contactor must only energise together with a direction.
    • Before installation or repair, switch off the main isolator and lock it out (LOTO).

    Quick selection guide

    12 buttons
    2 speeds
    230 V AC
    IP65

    Check before ordering:

    • Contactor coil voltage = 230 V AC (receiver supply).
    • Frequency: VHF 310–331 MHz – check whether it is permitted in your country; for the EU order the UHF version.
    • How many motions, and whether the motor is 2-speed or inverter-driven.

    FAQ

    How is the speed changed?
With separate buttons 1 and 2. A 2-speed motor or frequency inverter is required.
What are buttons 3 and 4 for?
They are not used in this version.
Can the receiver be powered from 24 V or 400 V?
No, the receiver is 230 V AC. For other voltages choose ES-F21-E1-TX (24–440 V AC/DC).
What happens if the signal is lost?
The receiver drops the MAIN relay and the main contactor, and the crane stops. Test this after installation.
    What is the range?
Up to 100 m in open space. Steel structures and walls reduce the range.
    Which batteries does it use?
    2 × AA alkaline batteries.
