Crane radio control set: 2 transmitters, 6-channel receiver, IP66
F21-2S-b3ce is a wireless crane control set of two transmitters and one 6-channel receiver. The transmitter sends the command by radio, the receiver relays close the channels, and the channels energise contactor coils. The motors are switched by contactors, not by the receiver.
Key point:
Two transmitters for one receiver are useful when two operators run the crane on different shifts or zones, or when a spare remote is needed. The IP66 receiver and −35…+80 °C operating range also suit outdoor yards.Transmitters

IP66How it works
Mount the receiver on the crane or hoist, close to the control panel. Choose the receiver supply to match the control circuit voltage (12/24 V DC or 36/48/220/380 V AC) and wire the relay contacts into the contactor coil circuits.
Wire the emergency stop channel so it drops the main contactor KM0. Loss of the radio link must stop the crane – test this with both transmitters before commissioning.
The operator controls the crane from a safe distance of up to ~100 m in open space, while the second transmitter stays in another zone or as a spare.
Why choose F21-2S-b3ce?
One receiver and two transmitters – no need for a second set when several people operate the same crane. The wide choice of receiver voltages lets it fit an existing control circuit.Technical specifications
Product type Wireless crane remote control Model F21-2S-b3ce Set contents 2 transmitters + 1 receiver Control channels 6 Operating range up to ~100 m in open space Receiver supply 12/24 V DC or 36/48/220/380 V AC, 50–60 Hz (by version) Protection rating IP66 Operating temperature −35…+80 °C Main functions
- 2 transmitters for one receiver – control from two places or a spare remote
- 6 control channels – for hoist and travel with a separate STOP channel
- IP66 – protection against dust and powerful water jets
- −35…+80 °C – for unheated halls and outdoor use
- Receiver 12/24 V DC or 36–380 V AC – matched to the existing control circuit
How does it differ from similar models?
- EL-F21-2S-TX – 1 transmitter (▲, ▼, START + magnetic STOP key), receiver 24–440 V AC/DC, IP65
- ES-E1738-315B – also 2 transmitters, but a modular receiver without housing, 315 MHz, 100–240 V AC
- ES-F21-E1-TX – 1 transmitter with 6 buttons + START/STOP, receiver 24–440 V AC/DC, IP65
Where is it used?
- Overhead and suspended cranes with several operators
- Electric hoists in production halls
- Outdoor cranes and loading yards
- Warehouses where the crane is used by different shifts
- Repair workshops that need a spare remote
Use by need
For the electrician
one receiver, one mounting point – two remotesFor a manufacturing plant
the second transmitter reduces downtime when a remote is lost or chargingFor a construction site / warehouse
IP66 and −35…+80 °C – outdoor work all year roundPractical use
If two shifts use the same overhead crane, each shift gets its own transmitter while the receiver stays the same. The receiver is chosen to match the crane control circuit, e.g. 48 V AC, and wired to the existing contactor coils.Pros
- 2 transmitters included
- IP66 and a wide temperature range
- Many receiver supply voltage versions
- Operating range up to ~100 m
Cons / limitations
- Radio frequency and button layout not specified – confirm before ordering
- The receiver version (voltage) must be chosen in advance
- For a universal 24–440 V AC/DC receiver choose EL-F21-2S-TX or ES-F21-E1-TX
Safety and installation notes
- The receiver relays switch contactor coils only – never pass motor current through them.
- The receiver supply voltage must match the control circuit and contactor coil voltage.
- The emergency stop channel drops the main contactor KM0; loss of the link must stop the crane (EN 60204-32).
- Organise work so that only one operator controls the crane at a time.
- Limit switches (SQ) and NC interlocking of opposite directions stay in the circuit.
- Before installation or repair – LOTO on the main isolator.
Quick selection guide
2 transmitters6 channelsup to ~100 mIP66Check before ordering:
- What is the contactor coil voltage – choose the receiver version accordingly (12/24 V DC or 36/48/220/380 V AC).
- Confirm the radio frequency and check whether it is permitted in your country.
- How many directions and speeds you need: 6 channels cover hoist and travel at one speed plus a STOP channel.
FAQ
How many transmitters are included?
Two transmitters and one receiver. Both transmitters control the same receiver. Can both transmitters be used at the same time?
We do not recommend it. Organise work so one operator controls the crane, with the other transmitter switched off or kept as a spare.Which receiver version should I choose?
The one that matches the crane control circuit voltage: 12/24 V DC or 36/48/220/380 V AC. State the required voltage when ordering. What is the operating range?
Up to ~100 m in open space. In halls with steel structures the range may be shorter. Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, it is rated IP66 with an operating range of −35…+80 °C. Mount the receiver so that water does not collect at the cable glands. Can a motor be connected directly to the receiver?
No. The receiver relays switch contactor coils; motor current is switched by contactors with thermal protection.F21-2S-b3ce – two remotes for one crane
A set of 2 transmitters and a 6-channel receiver, IP66, up to ~100 m. Confirm the receiver voltage and radio frequency before ordering.
